Superbly built rugged enough for a road warrior to set up wherever whenever without the unnecessary bulk and cables dangling around. Balance is a little tricky if you are ragged and use a 6lb sledge of a microphone but I'm sure there's some basic engineering issue only on the podcast warriors end. Love this more than any other I've yet used. Simple to assemble, its portable and has a nice range of motion for the times when you want to just dump random pocket stuff into its bottom compartment. Took a few moments to get set up but once it was its game on! I don't know who engineered it but the design is better than any I've used yet. This one is much easier to pop open out of the box and just go. I hope many more will have the ease of adjustment like it does as you can counter balance even awkward sized shape studio/mixer audio with. The adjustment grips are easier to use with hands that may be weaker or wet much less likely to break down with grit and dust. Overall I have been loving it and throwing it around in totally savage dumpster level ways and yet there she sits tried and true.

Works as intended. Sturdy, actually a but larger than I thought it would be. Confident it would hold up my shure mic. Wanted something that was on my desk, over my hanging stand which i alternate with.

Great Stan. Very heavy of course. But does most stuff that you need. I wish the plastic cable clips were better made they tend to snapped when taking them off but besides that good stuff.

Excellent stand, works as described

I'm a professional voice over artist and this stand holds my mic perfectly and gives me lots of angle and height options. Well-made as well.

This sucks. It can't hold the weight of a mic without falling over UNLESS it's angled just perfectly. Little to no flexibility. What makes it even worse is that this is a Shure product. Overpriced, terrible, I would go third party and save your money. Shure: please make "sure" your mic stands can actually hold the mic. Jfc.

Very happy with mic stand

This mic stand is perfect for the gamer in your family. The weighted bottom means that it will not tip over and it is the perfect height for mic placement. It doesn't get in the way of the keyboard or mouse. This was used with a Shure MV6 microphone.

Perfect stand for my Shure SM7B. Great quality and it's everything I need.
