Flexibility and Power here are GREAT!
I have this tiny lightweight device in use on my Bike Desk, mounted on one of two monitor arms, its input attached to a tiny Mini PC that has only a couple USB ports, when I really need at least a good EIGHT! And since I'm testing some USB network connectors, I topped out a full TEN PORTS! And small and light it may be in weight... still its functionality is full and asbsolute! I found connectivity is perfect, solid, compatible and fully functional. Speed is maintained for all ports. I especially love the port switches. No longer do I need to reach over and unplug my mouse that has its quirky need to be reset every couple days... Now I just toggle the switch and it's fine again. The little switches are one visual clue to whether the port is on or not; the other is a subtle but bright enough light that lights up when on, and goes dark when off. Hands down, this is the most valuable switch for the money. It functions SUPER well, maintains POWER regardless of how many devices are connected and active, and FUNCTIONS without flaw. Excellent!

Solid Device That Works Well
This is a review of the powered 60w 10 port device with switches. I bought it because I'd added a Pluggable Displaylink USB to DisplayPort device that seemed to be adding some USB instability to my low end Dell Vostro laptop. Drives not being recognized when plugged in, etc. The Pluggable is a fairly high power/traffic device, so I thought a powered hub could take some load off my Dell's power supply. So far it's working well, with one big advantage. Rather than using three ports on my laptop, I'm now only using one, so it's almost like a laptop dock except that I also have an Ethernet cable and power cable attached (the USB-C on my laptop is not the advanced type that can do display port and power, so I wouldn't want it also handling my Ethernet traffic through the USB port). Since I only use the external monitor and all my USB devices are now separately powered, the only draw on my laptop's power supply is for the laptop itself (CPU/GPU, BT and USB systems, etc.) The switches are a nice little plus so that I can disconnect a device without unplugging it. My only complaint is the design is not such that it's easy to label what each cord does, which would be useful for the switches, but I did create a list I posted close by.

REVISED DOWNWARD: An important peripheral. So far so good . . .
REVISED REVIEW: I originally gave this USB hub 5 stars. After using it for a few days I have to downgrade this positive review as it was premature. The hub randomly pulls up other USB ports on its own when using a different port. Also, it is quite slow in recognizing a port after making that port active. And on occasion will active an external hard drive that's connected to the computer, not the hub. In general this port acts squirrely. Since it's only a few days old, I hate to think of what is to come a few days down the road. I would not buy this port again. Another example of inferior Chinese quality. ORIGINAL REVIEW This is perhaps my most useful computer peripheral. I keep everything on flash drives. My old USB hub kept erasing flash drives and important information. There's a zillion of these on Amazon so reading the reviews helped. So I got this. It's a bit pricey but it seems so far to be doing all that was advertised. I like the fact that it is powered since I think power out of the back of my computer is not enough and I don't use it to charge things. Also, the on/off switches mean I only have to power up the ones I'm using at the time. 10 ports are sufficient for my needs. And my computer recognizes an active USB drive as soon as I press the button. This is reassuring relative to the old one. Nothing erased so far. But I really can't speak to the long-term reliability since I've not used it for long. I like the rubber footing since it keeps it in place. The adapter brick is sort of big but the connecting cord is long enough so that it can be placed away from the AC plug allowing me to place it atop the computer. It's neat and compact. One big downside is that the blue active indicator lights are not very bright. So far I can recommend it. But take my advice. Don't trust USB flash drives for important stuff. Have one or two active external hard drives at all times. A hassle copy to all the time, but important insurance in my opinion.

A Great Peripheral To Have
This device really helps me when I have multiple USB devices I need to connect to simultaneously. It is well worth the price in my opinion. The added feature of an on/off button for each port makes ot very convenient when wanting to leave something connected but turn it on when you need. Like using a YubiKey. It always seems to be an inopportune time to have to dig it out when you need it. With the Sabrent, I leave it connected and just press the on/off button to use it. Very convienient. Also, of you have a BlueTooth dongle, you have plenty of ports without tying up a port on the computer.

Very pleased with this hub. I’ve been using Anker’s power hubs, and they’ve always been reliable and great, but this one with individual power buttons is a step up. It lets me keep thumb drives or other devices plugged in without powering them when they’re not in use.

I replaced my old router because it was over heating and causing the connection to drop. I would noticed that after a minute as the speed would start dropping till the connection fails. This was a replacement to fix that issue but while it is better and has yet to totally fail, the heat is still an issue. USB3.0 rates of data transfer can overwhelm hardware but my old one worked flawlessly for a year before heat became an issue. This started straight away... even with just a single hard drive plugged in (the only physically connected cable) I have had it a week and it works for the small stuff, but when you want 10Gb or more... nope, it overheats and the drive's plug gets real hot. I'm going to set it up on my other PC's and see if it's localized, but I doubt it.
