SO EASY!!!!!!
i did not expect to love this bread machine as much as I do, but it has quickly become one of my favorite things in my kitchen. There is nothing better than the smell of fresh bread baking in the house. It gives the whole home a warm, comforting feeling that you just do not get from store-bought bread. The kids are eating it as fast as I can bake it. What I appreciate most is knowing exactly what is going into the bread Iโm feeding my family. I love being able to make fresh homemade bread without all the preservatives and unnecessary ingredients that are often added to packaged bread. It feels good knowing the bread is fresh, simple, and made with ingredients I chose myself. The machine itself is very easy to use. I can add the ingredients, set the cycle, and let it do the work. The mixing, kneading, rising, and baking all happen perfectly with very little effort on my part. The bread comes out soft, fluffy, and flavorful every time, with a beautiful crust and that homemade texture you hope for. I also appreciate that cleanup is simple and quick. Nothing about using this machine feels complicated or overwhelming, which makes it realistic to use regularly instead of something that just sits in a cabinet. This bread maker has made homemade bread feel easy and enjoyable again. My family loves it, my kitchen smells amazing, and I genuinely look forward to making bread now. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable bread machine that makes delicious homemade bread with less stress and more enjoyment.

Great breadmaker
Ordered this newer model bread maker because there is a gluten free option. I havenโt had a chance to make gluten free bread yet but I made a small loaf to test it out. The directions were easy to follow, thereโs lots of settings and options, I like it is more compact than some other models and the bread was delicious. Easy to clean and store and this company has great customer service. Customer service is prompt to respond and helpful with inquiries and truly seems to care about its products, which is rare to find these days.

KBS MBF-011 & MBF-016 Both Excellent Bread Makers
I purchased the MBF-011 in late February, 2024 to replace a well worn-out 1990โs Breadman machine. I was impressed with the oval shape of the pan that would produce a loaf shape much more like store bought. The multiple settings provided and degree of timing control within those settings is also impressive. I initially made 2 loaves of 1 lb bread, the first a French loaf using the provided recipe book and the second a honey white loaf using a recipe of my own. Both came out evenly baked with a nice crust, and tasty. I did have a problem with the pan being difficult to remove. A twisting motion is required that appeared to require too much force. I contacted John at Customer Service. He quickly responded with suggestions for easier removal and also offered to send a new pan and paddle! The new pan arrived the next day and performed without further incident. I obtained a new MBF-016 that was delivered April 10th, 2024 and I proceeded to compare the equipment and to make some bread. The new model is slightly lighter, 9.2 vs 12.8 lbs. with a smaller motor and single heating element. The new machine provided 19 functions vs 17, and did not provide a fruit & nut dispenser. The new keypad is push button vs touch sensitive. The operating functions are significantly different, each allowing a different degree of control over certain functions. It takes a bit of studying to become familiar with all of them. Fortunately, the โdefaultโ settings on both will probably satisfy all but the most adventurist baker. I proceeded to make several loaves in a side-by-side comparison. The MBF-011 had a stronger stirring/kneading motion but the MBF-016 also performed well and did not struggle with any of the breads. Pictures below are images of a honey white, whole wheat, and pumpernickel. All were evenly baked, with a nice crust and good density. The MBF-011 took slightly longer to complete its cycles and produced a loaf that was slightly higher than the MBF-016. A caution: Most of the recipes I have seen published equate loaf size with quantity of flour specified, e.g., 1 lb = 2 cups, 1.5 lb = 3 cups, and 2 lb = 4 cups. I attempted to make a 2 lb, 4 cup sourdough recipe that overflowed the pan. I then tried a 2 lb whole wheat recipe from the provided instructions and it came out fine. The flour quantity, however was 3 cups and the resulting bread loaf was 1 ยพ lb. This is not a major issue for me as I rarely would want to make a 2 lb loaf and it appears that the machine settings are fine for the recipe sizes I have used to date. Overall, both machines performed as expected, providing excellent results for all breads tried so far. Customer service has been excellent. Documentation & recipe instructions are adequate but could use some editing & improvement.

Best bread machine I have ever had
I really love this machine. I have the machine prior to this one and loved it but once this came out, I had to get it. It has dual heating elements and a nut/seed dispenser which is what I wanted originally. It also has an extra paddle, an oven mitt, measuring cup, measuring spoon and a paddle puller. Also comes with the manual, recipe book and quick start guide. 20 functions plus 2 custom functions. This machine goes beyond your usual machine by giving you 2lb, 2.5lb and 3lb options for larger families. I'm very happy because this one came in Stainless Steel which matches most of my other kitchen appliances. I made a 3 lb. loaf today and it came out delicious. I would definitely recommend this machine; you will be very happy with it. Another thing I noticed is it was very quiet and I had to check on it a few times to make sure it was still running. Get it, make some bread, save money and make something delicious.

Very pleased with the machine.
I've been using this machine for about 5 months now and am very pleased. The reason it is only a 4 is that there is not a real recipe book with the machine. More of a by guess an by golly suggestions. I did find recipes in other bread machine books that worked but had to work through adjusting quantity and ingredients to get a great Milk Bread recipe. We have not purchased bread or rolls since buying the machine nearly 6 months ago. Mostly make Milk Bread, Pumpernickel Rye and Cinnamon Raisin Bread. Also makes great cinnamon rolls and a great Leomon Blueberry loaf.

Make Healthy Tasty Bread
When I ordered my KBS 2lb. 19 in 1 Program Bread Maker, I was very happy to receive it in just 5 days. Although I was not familiar with the KBS brand, I was extremely impressed with the speed of delivery, packaging and quality accessories. The 650 watt motor was a selling point for me. The ceramic coated bread pan, manual, recipe book, measuring cup/spoon/paddle hook, paddle and oven mit were all included. I was immediately happy to see buttons rather than touch screen controls, as they are not likely to be accidentally selected. My first loaf of bread in the KBS was a French Bread recipe that was in the manual. I do appreciate the gram measures as it is more precise and as I have learned, all flours weights are different. Selecting the medium crust and 1.5 lb. loaf size, as suggested for a first loaf, I found the result gratifying. It looked and tasted delicious. Slicing it, after completely cooled, revealed a perfect crumb and the crust was crusty...my favorite part. I might mention that a KBS contact email is printed on every page of the manual. This is reassuring. I next baked a whole wheat loaf that was equally wonderful and tasty. Both breads are delicious toasted as well. By coating the paddle shaft with a little Crisco, I was able to remove the paddle at the very beginning of the 3rd ferment (slightly repositioning the dough ball), to have just a small hole in the bottom of the baked bread. If one misses this crucial timing, the paddle still slides off the shaft easily, even when the bread is finished baking. If frozen, the bread retains its fresh quality when thawed and stays fresh longer then after first baked. So if you can't consume the whole loaf within a day or 2, freeze it for at least 24 hours. I highly recommend the KBS 2lb. 19 in 1 Program Bread Maker to anyone who wishes to have fresh bread that contains only what you put into it. It is an attractive, modern and compact appliance, taking up little counter space and is beginner friendly. It is simple to use with great results.

Room for improvement
We are having no luck finding a bread machine that will actually allow us to freely program it so that it could actually serve a purpose other than brainless usage for pre-defined products. This concept should not require much more technology than what is present. We are not asking for a fool-proof machine that would guaranty a great loaf. To the contrary, we are looking for a way to automate bread-making so we do not have to sit there in the kitchen and babysit the dough through the stages for several hours. Unfortunately, we are still looking for that break maker, because the KBS 2LB maker is not it. We ordered the KBS 2LB Bread Maker because it was advertised that it "allows for custom mixing, rising, timer times." A useful custom program such as this would ideally be the one feature that would have placed this model at the top of the bread maker models page, as far as we are concerned. Yes, it is nice to have all these other pre-programmed functions for a variety of baked goods, but we really wanted a machine that would serve us in making what we like to bake, as opposed to the stereotypical stuff that is already sold in the stores. A programmable machine would also allow us to bake true sourdough bread, but not this machine. True sourdough does not use any active dry yeast or bread machine yeast. True sourdough can require between 1 and 2 days to rise, and what we have advertised here does not function that way. Yes, this bread maker does allow you to adjust the timing of the different process steps by increasing or decreasing the time intervals for mixing and baking. But the time intervals allowed are extremely limited. We do not get why it was designed with such limitation. To top it off, there is a major fatal flaw that reduces the value of the variable timing option. For example, we wanted to let our dough rise for 30 hours (which is not possible with this machine). We also tried a recipe that allows the dough to rise 4 hours before baking, and you might think it should be possible with this machine. We tried that by setting the first rise step to the maximum time, then setting the mixing step to 0 minutes, and then the second rise step to the maximum time. The fatal flaw is that even a 0-minute mixing step will mix your dough for a few seconds. So when you finally got some rising dough in there, the 0-minute mixing step kicks in, and punches your dough down for a few seconds. So the whole idea of longer rise time is simply not possible with this narrow-minded machine. Sorry, we had to return this machine, because it is pointless. If anyone ever comes across a machine that lets you completely program the mixing, rising, and baking steps, without these sad limitations, please let us know. We are talking about simple technological capability that should have been possible for 50 years now, and it should not require a microchip processor any bigger than what is inside the machine right now. We believe it is reasonable to expect such a product to be available for sale at the same price range as all these bread makers. The apparent absence of such a product is very sad and disappointing.

So easy to Use!!
I like to research everything I buy! I looked at every bread maker they make and kept going back to this one. I waited for it to go on sale. Itโs the greatest little thing! So easy to work. Tonight I made pizza dough in it. It was delicious and soft! I would highly recommend! Hint! I paid more than what itโs been since Christmas on Black Friday so grab this one if in the market. It takes up no room on your cupboard as well!

Best bread machine
I love this bread machine! I grew up with a cuisinart bread machine, and wanted something that could give me a similar experience for a lower price. This was the third bread maker I have used, and it has never let me down! I use it to make bread, pizza dough, and dough for pastries. Pros: - Multiple different settings - Easy to use - Options to delay start time - Easy to use interface - Comes with instruction manual and recipe cards for each bread setting - Dishwasher safe* Cons: - * I put the bread basket in the dishwasher, and the exterior of the basket is not dishwasher safe, so the metal rubs off when you're holding it. The inside part that holds the bread is non-stick and dishwasher safe. - Since putting in the mixing paddle, it is stuck in there and cannot come out. No matter how hard I try, it cannot budge. So now it is just a part of the bread bucket. Despite this, I can still clean it well without issues. Overall, I definitely recommend!

Blade's stuck
I've had, and still have, a lot of fun with this machine. It makes good...ish bread and, since I'm using it to make bread for my work lunches, I use it every week. The thing that really bothers me is, when I got the machine and I put the mix blade in, it got stuck. The machine works fine, but the blade will not come off. When the baking is done and the bread is ready to come out, I have to fight to get it out, and it happened several times now, that the bread got torn apart because of it...
