I cant stop screaming, its a bigger book than i thought it was going to be, so much detail! Its beautiful and enormous, i cant wait to display it on my bookshelf 🫶🏼

This is a beautiful hardbound volume. I love the colors used for the cover and page edges. Julia Quinn's writing style is very fluid. The kind of book to read when you want to curl up on the couch with a cup of tea and relax.

I've already read all 8 Bridgerton sibling books but never owned a physical copy of the books. I ordered the collectors edition so I could have really nice books for when I read them again (which I promptly began when the first two collectors came in). The cover is great quality. The spine protection does its job, and does it well. Because it's such a thick book I was worried about the spine cracking and needing to get it fixed BUT I am confident it'll last due to the quality of the binding and cover materials. As for the stories - I won't be judging those in depth here :) both stories are amazing and worth the read.

With the increase in popularity thanks to the Netflix adaptation, we now have the rise of special editions of the Bridgerton books. Though my dream set is the illumicrate series, they seem to refuse to make another print of them. Sigh! But, I was rather excited when I saw these new editions coming out. Having only had the third book I knew I wanted the whole series because despite loving the aesthetic of the show, I like the books better. The quality of these books are wonderful, the covers are designed beautifully and the interior paper is thick without being too stiff. There's even a Bridgerton family tree within the first few pages where you can see the children in order and their future spouses! So, why 4 stars instead of 5? I'm sorry to say it, but I despise the colored edges. I understand why they reflect the Featherington/Bridgerton colors, and they do catch your eye, but my goodness it is so saturated. I also partially wish the shining accents on the covers were all done in gold rather that the complimentary colors. The third book is by far my favorite with the blue/gold/white/yellow scheme, but I still can't get over the page edges being so absurdly bright. Though I am no master of the trade, I will most likely change the edges to all gold and leave the covers as is in hopes that will lessen the eyesore. But, credit is due that these books are stunningly designed and made. My complaints only lie in the saturation level!

True, this is an absolutely gorgeous book! With two books in one, it is very thick. I won't be reading any of these editions as they come (I have pre-ordered all of them). They will be display pieces. However, the condition is lacking for a collector's edition, as others have already mentioned. It isn't the publisher's fault. I believe any damage received on these books is from packing and shipping. Mine came in a box of very similar size but left room for the book to bounce around without protection. It's risky to purchase anything online where the item will change hands, so if you're looking for perfection, it will be a hit or miss. My copy came with minimal damage from shipping, which I could fix with some book repair knowledge. I still love it and can't wait to see the others all together!

I received the book today😍😍 it’s breath taking!! I just wish that they bubble wrapped the book before putting it in the box because the edges of the book got damaged during delivery. Other than that I love everything about this book

The contents of the book is great and is great quality! However the book itself is damaged and for a collectors edition that's very disappointing since the design of the book is so beautiful and hard cover, I wouldn't want to spend 30 euros on a collectors edition only to receive it damaged. The packaging was just a squished cardboard box, with nothing else to protect the book from getting damaged. Whilst the story of the book is great, the physical book is damaged and that's disappointing.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend. It's a beautiful edition, the colours are as vibrant as they appear but it works so well! Beautifully made and she was absolutely delighted.
