This thing worked perfectly for my 08 Nissan Sentra S model with CVT
If you own a CVT Nissan, this is a must have. I bought mine as a commuter and didnt realize what a POS these trannies were until I started to hear mine whine the day I brought her home. This car otherwise was in perfect shape but I was so pissed. This is how you know youve got the issue. Car starts and drives normally, however after the transmission heats up (give or take 40+ mins of continuous driving) or sooner if its hilly and driving aggressively, you start to hear the dreaded CVT whine which goes louder as you speed up and lower as you slow down. This means your tranny is overheating and will fail if you continue to drive it like that without cooling it down! I did some research and found this as a fix. I also read in a Nissan bulletin that they would also add external oil coolers to cars that are brought in under warranty for tranny failures...so I bought this, bought the external cooler and took the other reviews suggestions and bought additional 11/32 hose as well as 5 quarts of CVT fluid. Steps: 1 pull off bumper, pull off lower covers and partially remove wheel wells on the driver side for access to old cooler. 2. mount external cooler 3. install hoses on new transmission cooler (this part) and ensure they are on tight!. 3. Pull off hoses off old cooler (helps to use swivel type socket extensions) purchase longer ones if possible. 4. Be ready to lose ALL your coolant once pulling this off. (so yeah buy coolant too) 5. pull off cooler. 6. install new cooler (gonna be tight fit with the new hoses on, but be patient. 7. reinstall coolant hoses (ensure they are tight) 8. route new hoses to external cooler and cut down / install) 9. Add coolant. 10. while you are here, change the transmission oil too. 11. check for leaks 12. reinstall bumper. Your tranny should no longer whine after 40+ mins of driving. Ive driven up to an hour and a half with no more whine! I drive this car easy because its my commuter and its no sports car but this seems to have done the trick!! hope it works for you too. BTW F CVT transmissions.

works well
bought after my rogue suffered the limp mode issue after driving 80 mph in 90+ degrees Texas heat. takes a medium skill level to install. No specialty tools were needed. No transmission over heat issues afterwards. check you tube videos for more details

Worked
Install this aftermarket cooling system on my Nissan Juke. Noticed the CVT fluid was not cooling efficiently so decided to install this system with after market radiator. Four stars given since one of the ports came bent. Will update if this system fails to cool transmission fluid efficiently.

Lower coolant outlet was bent past 90 degrees, kinks hose; had to reuse original gasket.
Bought for a 2013 Juke to add a transmission cooler. It installed and operates fine, but the lower coolant outlet was bent beyond 90 degrees, unlike the 90 degrees pictured. It puts a kink in the hose, but I am running with it and hope it will survive. Also, the o-ring gasket that came with it is useless. it does not have little nubs like the factory one to keep it in place when installing. I cleaned and reused the original, again, running with it and hoping it survives. This was at least cheaper than the dealer price. I will update if it has issues. If it had to do it again, I'd splurge on the factory part or salvage part and have the peace of mind.

Well built unit, exact fit for 2009 Rogue.
Used in overheating Nissan Rogue 2009. Exact fit. Do yourself a favor and buy some 11/32 transmission line hose if you are adding an aux cooler. By the way, the outlet line is the one that comes out the top when mounted on the CVT, the return is the one that comes out of the side. Also do not forget to pinch off your coolant hoses, I used a couple of needle nose pliers, or you will drain all your coolant. This will necessitate a removal of the heater hose at your firewall in order to burp your engine and avoid warped heads caused by air trapped in block. See Nissan Technical Service Bulletin NTB14-002a for good info, it is on the web if you look.

So far so good
So far so good. Definitely brought the temperature down to green on the Scanner and green it stayed. No leaks as of yet. Re used the factory O-ring. Didn't like the way it mated. OEM O-Ring has small groves to keep it in place vs the one provided.

Arrived damaged
The damage to this product was not caused by the shipping company. This part had been dropped which caused one of the mounting holes to no longer be round. Some of the cooling fins were bent and there were scratches and gouges in the mating surface.
