It’s all I use. I’ve used it my entire adult life. I like that the fragrance is mild and my skin feels clean. It lathers nicely and rinses easily. My grandma used this soap too and both her and I have youthful skin. Not sure if it’s the soap or genetics because the rest of the family has more wrinkles.

I grew up on using Ivory Bar Soap. This was the first step to achieving the "OG" Clean-Girl aesthetic. It leaves you clean and smelling like fresh, "clothes-line dried" laundry (iykyk). I love everything about this soap EXCEPT it does not "float" on top of the water like it used to. The texture of the bar is still the same. That's the reason for 4-stars, I wanted 4.5 but no option. It says it's still pure, however, that slight difference makes me wonder. I have not experienced any irritations, so it's still safe for sensitive skin. It does not leave my skin dry or dehydrated nor dry in texture, just clean and fresh. What is missing is the "99.9% PURE" description that used to be on the front of the package. I got them at a great value for the number/ amount of bars in the package. I will continue to purchase in this amount because it lasts much longer.

I actually didn't buy these bars for bathing...I bought them to clean my makeup brushes and beauty sponges. If you're a makeup lover, you probably already know this little beauty hack! Ivory soap does an amazing job breaking down foundation, concealer, cream products, and brush buildup without requiring a lot of scrubbing. I just wet my brushes, swirl them on the bar, and rinse. The makeup comes out surprisingly easily, and my brushes feel clean and soft afterward. The large 10-pack is a great value because one bar lasts a long time when used for brush cleaning. I also appreciate that the formula is simple and doesn't have an overpowering fragrance. I've used expensive brush cleansers before, but honestly, this works just as well for me at a fraction of the cost. If you're looking for an affordable way to keep your makeup tools clean, this is definitely a makeup-girl-approved trick.
