As a long time at-home wax user I am very particular when it comes to hard wax beads and have tried many brands. My last wax formula was disappointing me on results and the reviews verified something had changed so I needed to find a new brand. I was hesitant to purchase this one, but it has exceeded my expectations! It’s not like the super thick/creamy textured ones I’ve used in the past, this one is thinner and goes on clear for a thin layer. Definitely buildable but I found I did not need much as the hold on hair was impressive. Even after doing a test patch on my friend we both agreed it was less painful than the previous hard waxes I’d bought. Low melting point so I didn’t have to use a high heat. No multiple passes. Clean pulls. I will say I wish they made a fragrance free formula as I’m not a fan of synthetic scented products, but it wasn’t overwhelming. Would definitely recommend this product to those looking for a less painful waxing experience.

Overall, I’m really happy with the Mallowwax Lavender wax beads! They melt down smoothly and have a pleasant, light lavender scent that makes the process a little more enjoyable. I did notice that on coarser hair I sometimes needed to go over the area twice, which is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. Still, it’s a great option for at-home waxing — good quality, nice scent, and reliable results for the price!

I've purchased this brand of wax beads four or five times now, sometimes in the 1lb bag and other times in this 2.5lb bag. It's my favorite hair removal wax out there because it's so budget friendly. I've used other, more expensive wax bead brands and was not able to tell a difference between them and this one. The lavender scent from the beads after melting is perfect. It's not overwhelming, but it's still there. I've never had issues with this wax melting weirdly or with its consistency once heated. My legs and underarms always turn out beautifully, and I've never had any sort of allergic reaction to these beads either, which is saying something coming from someone with eczema-prone/sensitive skin. I also have VERY thin/fine hair, and even with that type of hair, this wax still removes what I need it to. All in all, these wax beads do exactly what I need them to do at half the price of a lot of other brands. It's rough out there right now in this economy, so I try to save money where I can, and these wax beads are one of those areas. If you are trying to be more money conscious and save where you can, give these wax beads a try. They've not let me down yet.

I have used several types of hair removal products and this is probably the best one. My chin hair is very coarse, and this seemed to remove it very efficiently. The smell was nice and it was a bit softer than the other purple wax that I had used previously. I would definitely recommend this product - especially for hair that is difficult to remove. I can also use it several times before I discard.

Finally found the right wax beads for all jobs. They exceeded my expectations. Wax melts smoothly, applies easily, and grips hair well without sticking excessively to the skin, making the waxing process much more comfortable. I found it effective on coarse and fine hair alike, and it removed most hair in a single pull.

I’m learning to wax myself at home. This is a really good hard wax compared to a lot of other ones I’ve tried. It didn’t leave my skin dry either. It cracked a little bit I think it was just my technique at first. I’d recommend it and order it again!
