I teach in multiple classrooms throughout the day, and discovered the hard way that paper sticky notes do not like to stay put as you wheel a cart throughout the school building! Since I am the type of person who will forget something unless I write it down, I needed something a bit sturdier for this next school year. I purchased the multi-colored pack of McSquares and am so happy with my purchase! They are sticking nicely to my metal travel cart, wooden desk, and dry walled wall at school. They have a foam-like backing that does not feel sticky to the touch, but adheres very nicely. If the backing reaches a point where it no longer sticks, you can clean it off with water to renew the adhesive properties again. This product is obviously more expensive than paper post-it notes, but I think that the long-term benefits more than justify the cost. A test sheet is included in the package so that you can try out the product on your surfaces without destroying either a McSquare OR your surface, and I really liked that fact as well! It shows a commitment to quality and customer care. I'm really loving these so far, and am second-guessing my intention of giving each of my students (small class!) one for their desk use daily...I really want to keep them all for myself! I will update this review after this school year to let you know how durable the McSquare Stickies are after a year in middle school, but I can already tell that they're a HUGE step up from my flyaway paper sticky notes!

This is a great concept - taking it back from the super high tech notebooks which require phone apps , back to the classic dry erase note taking with easy erasing. They can be placed anywhere - I had no issues putting one on my laptop, one on my ipad (ironic right?), and removing was easy. The first one I received had issues with the coating and no matter what dry erase marker I used (the included one or new expo markers that worked elsewhere) it didn't write well. I was really impressed with the customer service - they were incredibly responsive and sent another set, which worked really well. Do consider the number you need, as I realized I only really needed 2 or 3 and not 6.

This product is such a cool and useful concept. As someone who loves Post-it notes, I loved getting these reusable stickies as a gift. The stickies comes off easily and cleanly from the surface that I put it on, although I am afraid to put it on a surface and it not able to come off. I wish that a white board eraser would work on the stickies, as you have to wipe off the marker with water/towel. Twenty dollars is a little pricey for what it comes with - I think it could come with a few extra markers (and if they have an eraser that works besides water) for that price. Besides this, these work just as well as using a paper Post-it note, so I love that it saves me on buying more of those.

This is the second set of McSquares I have ordered. I love them so much I tell everyone about this wonderful product. They stick everywhere I need them. The packaging includes a small piece to test on walls, etc. to make sure the spongy backing does not harm your surfaces. I’ve used them on my cabinets, refrigerator, quartz countertops, glass door, metal music stand, etc, without issue. With two busy kids at home, we were going through massive amounts of post-it notes. I like to use sticky notes for meal planning, test reminders, daily schedules, quick notes, etc. I am happy with this purchase because I can cut the 4x4s into smaller squares to fit in my calendar and daily needs. The squares stick to almost any surface and remove easily. I simply run my squares under water and the wet-erase marker runs right off. You can use dry erase markers or wet erase markers. I cannot recommend this product enough, as it makes our life much easier and I feel better about reusing the reusable McSquares versus throwing paper away daily. While these may not work for everyone, they have been perfect for our family.

I bout several different reusable sticky notes on Amazon and honestly these ones were my LEAST favorite. They are thick clunky and very EXPENSIVE. They work ok and sick as advertised, but I found a cheaper off brand that feel much more high-quality...they are thinner, have nice rounded corners and feel more durable and they didn't get creases from peeling them up over and over. Won't buy the MC Squared brand again.

I ordered this product a few weeks ago and have been using it daily since it arrived. The stickies *do* stick to any flat surface; I use them regularly to keep to-do lists on my desk or to leave notes on my roommate's computer, but they do not stick to my walls, since paint is not smooth enough. They seems to stick to any wood, ceramic, glass, or metal surface. They also peel up easily and cleanly, and can be re-stuck right away. I tend to stick them back on their original backing paper or stick them all together in a stack when I'm not using them. The only (minimal) complaint I had was actually with the bonus tackie marker I got with it. The tackie marker does *not* erase easily, even with water (it's wet erase, not dry erase). I had to scrub to get it off, and quickly replaced it with ultra fine tip expo dry erase markers, which erase easily and with which I can fit a lot more writing on a single stickie, since it writes smaller.

Sticky notes are apart of anyone's life if you've ever been in school or are currently in work. They help us stay organized, and are great for quick notes and reminders if you're in a hurry. Though, we all know the struggle of using regular sticky notes over and over again. You have to erase and it's a hassle. With these, however, you can pin them up, write, erase, and even if they lose their adhesive, you can restore it. Not only that, but save money on regular sticky notes! Super easy and resourceful! I love using them, and my daughter loves leaving drawings on the blank ones when I'm not using them. I suggest these to anyone that uses sticky notes frequently! Very clever idea!

these are not as sticky as some other brands out there are... for the price you pay lasted less than a month :(

This has worked really well, saving paper and post its (and phone calls) . I stick them on the side of plastic boxes containing work to do, so that all staff know priorities. The deadlines can easily be erased and rewritten as work is completed. The squares can easily be transferred between boxes, as well.

Love the idea of these, but they’re a MESS to clean. They are not dry erase (they are wet erase) and not practical for that reason.

I use these to cut down on my sticky-note usage. They do work, but I find to stick to my eggshell painted walls they need to be rinsed with water first. I find I have to wet-erase them anyways so it's not a big deal, but annoying none the less.
