Mini Split Ground Stand, Adjustable Anti-Vibration Mini Split Stand w/ 400LBS Load Capacity, Heavy Duty AC Stand for 9,000-12,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner Heat Pump

I bought this product for my new DELLA 18,000 btu Mini Split, and it is a good fit. It is designed and built well. I live in a beach community, so corrosion is a major issue. In a perfect world, this unit would be available in a "beachside" version, with all metal parts made of stainless steel. But, I realize that is an unrealistic expectation, so I did my best to retard corrosion, as follows: 1. Painted the frame before assembly with 4 coats of various primers and finish coats. This took about 3 hours. 2. Bought and assembled the stand with 1/4" all stainless steel fasteners (with the exception of the metric nuts and studs that are imbedded in the rubber cushions). Material for the above upgrades was about $110, and at a modest rate of $35/hr the 3 hours labor adds about $105, for a total upgrade cost of $215. In hindsight, if this stand had been available in all 303 or 304 stainless steel, It would have been well worth paying $350 or even $400 for it. The seller may wish to look into offering this variation, to expand into the beachside markets! Assembly was straightforward with accurate and understandable instructions.

The mini-split base is truly heavy duty as advertised. The white powder coating is a plus as it will make the base withstand the weather for years. I am very impressed with the quality of the base overall. Unfortunately the base rubber mounds needed to be tapered on the upper edges to fit under the legs of my mini-split unit. One of the mounts broke while I was trimming it. I contacted the seller about obtaining a replacement mount. To my surprise, within minutes, the seller responded saying that they would send a replacement at no charge. There were no questions or hassle on the sellers part. I am truly amazed with the excellent customer service by the seller. I received the replacement part within three days as promised. I highly recommend the seller and would be glad to do business with them again.

Update 9-21-24 The seller did reach out to me and offered me a refund or a newer model that has more depth for the feet, so I thought was pretty fair. I had already modified the stand and mounted the compressor so didn't take the newer model. So just be aware of the dimensions of this stand. I would personally skip this one and look for the newer model which accommodates a wider and deeper footprint for the mounts. And as always , measure the footprint of the mounts on your mini split. Moved from 2 stars to 4. I'd give this stand 3.5 stars for the adjustability If your compressor will fit but again , go for the newer model. Their customer support and follow-up was excellent in my opinion and If I hadn't already modified and mounted the compressor , I would have taken the larger one as the adjustable legs worked out for my slightly uneven base. ---------------------------Original Review-------------------------------------------------------- First off and I wish I paid more attention to the stated depth of the stand which is 10 inches. I ordered the stand that says it accommodates between a 9k and 18k Mini Split compressor. I have one 18k and two 12k Compressors and this would not have fit any of them as both the 12k Compressors had a depth of 11.5 inches with the 18k at 13 inches for the mounts. I had to drill new holes to accommodate the extra depth which I didn't even want to do because I don't think this stand is even going to hold up for a few years before it starts rusting as the finish is thin and the metal frame just seems cheap. I had originally bought it due to the adjustability of the legs as it was going somewhere that I was not going to be able to get completely level but bought another wall mount instead. I ended up getting a 3rd mini split for a bedroom and just kept this as I had already purchased it. Like I said above , there are probably very few 9-18k compressors this will fit without modification. I think it's cheaply constructed and the bolts will definitely rust and I don't think it will hold up to be honest. I should have returned it and purchased another Ductless Aire Brand wall mount for half the price. Stay away from this garbage.

Worked nicely for keeping the mini split off the ground

Very well packed, each piece individually wrapped, easy set up and instalation. Very sturdy and adjustable. I installed 4 mini-split heat pumps and could not be happeir with these stands. Have worked great with my 24000 btu and 18000 btu systems.

Product was great however it was missing a part. Package was not messed with or tampered with seems to have been missing a part from the factory. I am a contractor and was two hours away from home doing a job and ran into this situation. It was quite unfortunate.

Turned out to be too small for my mini split. Luckily I had a professionally installed, and he had a full size rack stand. Also note there are metric and US threads on the nuts and it's easy to mix them up

The product seems sturdy. It holds my very large Air conditioner unit securely. The unit is bigger and heavier than I anticipated. I'm hoping this doesn't rust in the rain or snow. I just received it, so besides what I can see right now I have no further information.

Using an impact driver it took about 15 - 20 minutes to assemble the stand ! And it is very sturdy!

Lots of parts, but not that hard to put together, and it seems to be holding my mini split just fine
