Great tablet at a great price!
I already have a couple of tablets, I have the Teclast T10, Amazon Fire HD 10, the kids have a Amazon Fire HD 8 and Galaxy Tab 3 and I have an iPad from work but I needed a tablet and a phone for my mother-in-law who is starting to struggle with her eyesight using her small phone and her old Vista laptop is past it's best and she only wants to read emails, browse the web and maybe watch the odd film or two. She came around for advice and I showed her my T10 and the Amazon Fire HD 10 and my Kindle and I showed the this one: the Teclast P10. She ruled out the Kindle straight away, saying she would prefer to read on the bigger 10 inch screen and that she could have one device that did it all. So based on my advice (specifications vs performance vs price), she chose the P10 and I ordered it for her. I got to play with it for a while whilst she was on holiday and whilst I was setting it up for her and it's a really nice tablet. It has a nice premium feel to it, the metal back is nice, the plastic bezel feels good and the screen is great. Considering it is cheaper than the Fire HD 10 and is a better specification, it makes a great device! Specifications The tablet is 24.5cm x 16.5cm x 0.86cm and weighs in at 0.53kg. It has a 10.1" display running at a very high resolution of 1920x1200 which is exactly the same as the Fire HD 10. It has 2GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable via micro SD card) again like the Amazon Fire HD 10, but it has a faster 8 core processor compared to the Fire's quad-core so you can expect better gaming performance. Plus, of course, it runs Android 7.1 where as the Fire Tablet runs an Amazon customised version of Android 5 with no Google Play store. The rear camera is 5mp and the front camera is 2mp, great for Skype and video calling - again, more powerful than the Fire tablet. Obsiously it supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi and bluetooth and it comes with a UK charger, screen protector and usb lead. In use The display is really nice and sharp. Colours are good, very true to life and vibrant and the viewing angles are great. It is very easy to see, even in bright sunlight. The display is complimented by good quality stereo speakers that are on either side of the device giving good spacial stereo and making for an excellent device on which to watch films - my primary use. The speakers are louder than the Amazon tablet - that said, my Amazon tablet is in a case, so that might not help. Gaming is fine. I'm not a gamer, but the graphics intensive Real Racing HD 3 works fine with no stutter or anything. Battery life is good. It has a 5200mAh battery. I don't know what size the battery is in the Fire Tablet, but battery life in use is very similar. However, this sleeps better. If you sleep the both and leave them for a couple of days, this has lost less charge than the Fire tablet has. I've found it will easily do a few days of casual use and a day of watching films and heavy use. The cameras are plenty good enough. Most people wouldn't be using a tablet like a camera phone, but the front one is great for Skype or other video messaging apps whilst the rear one is fine if you do need to take pictures. Summary If you watch a lot of films in bed or whilst out and about or in the living room with headphones on whilst the other half watches the TV, then a tablet is a must over a smartphone and the Teclast P10 is cheaper than Amazon's own tablet and has either the same storage, but better overall specs. My mother-in-law loves it - much better than her laptop. Any questions, please ask and I'll do my best to help.

First one came defective and took ages to get a replacement, second one is fine for now.
First tablet that was I sent had a defective screen and lasted only a minute or two before having issues and showing washed out colours and random static lines. I then spent 2 weeks trying to get a response from the company and eventually returned the defective tablet back at my own cost of c.£15 recorded delivery. I was told I would get this refunded and never did but by now I can't be asked waste any more time trying to contact the company. The replacement tablet works ok, screen is good and super bright. Performance wise it is okay, surfing the web is fast but the OS is rooted so some apps i.e. skygo wont work on this. I play some games on this and it is ok. Does get very hot when using a lot of graphics processing and the processors get hot under heavy load. The processor is average for an otacore but tablet processors normally are. The poorest part of this tablet is the speakers, which are crap and super tinnie. Listening to music through this is pathetic, but with a decent set of headphones it is fine. Battery life is good. All in all a it is OK for a c.£100. Just wish I didint get a dud one first and then had to go through the faff of returning it for a replacement.

Excellent performance from a great value, well built tablet.
Excellent tablet for the money. The 2 Gig of ram in my view is essential for tablets nowadays so it was good to see that built in. The cons ? Perhaps the screen colours are just slightly washed out with some games (but this is compared to my Samsung). The touch response, again playing games, perhaps lacks a little bit of accuracy / response. I do need to stress though that these are very minor gripes. If it is of interest to you the tablet comes rooted. the pros? So far, a month into using the P10, everything else is a pro. It really is that good.. In closing, one recommendation:. It appears a tad slow in charging via USB. It comes with a traditional charging point as well. This is much quicker although you will need to supply your own charger (5V 2.5A).

Stopped charging a few months after buying it.
The tablet is good for the price, except because stopped charging a few months after buying it, so I can't use it anymore. I am applying for the warranty and will update this review after the service.

Poor android OS/Cant handle normal operations /Random crashing
after having tablet for few days i started to realise that this is very poor tablet in term of Android 7 OS which is so poor that this tablet will crash under load /like watching you tube video and suddenly you see boot logo and it all crashed so unexpectedly , Sound is very poor with hissing sound, screen is very bright and actually not that bad for media content.I would not recommend this tablet to anyone as it is waste of your money which could be used on much better unit! Amazon delivery was very fast and very good packed but this item is sold by third party seller so this is not amazon fault, item returned today and refund in process, this is my honest review and hope it will help others before spending their hard earned money.

Good tablet
Really impressed with this tablet, I wanted a reasonably priced device with good battery life. This product comes with a fast processor and bright clear screen. The micro USB charging port is on the side, which is what I wanted as I wall mounted mine. Amazing for the price. I use mine for just playing music streamed to speakers. But so impressed with it might even take it on holiday and not use my ipad.
