Works well
Works well on cast iron, copper, brass. The amount of grease is probably more appropriate for professionals. Way too much for one guy w a kitchen and 2 bathrooms.

Seemed to make a difference
Seem to help when installing a delta cartridge in a valve body - 2 oz is a small container, but should last a lifetime for a homeowner

Oatey 40610 Hercules Plumber's Silicone
Awesome!!! This is some amazing silicone. Keep in mind, it's not like the stuff you squeeze out of a tube. It's not thick, but it's works just as long and you only have to put a tiny bit on.

Silicone Grease to the Rescue
I ordered this silicone grease to use around my new car roof rubber to keep it soft and pliable. This will come in handy to help protect and make all seals more flexible. It is clear in color and the consistency of any regular grease you may have experienced. Just dab your finger in some, wipe it on any rubber details and massage it into the rubber. If needed, you can remove any excess with a soft clean cloth rag. Now all my rubber roof seals will operate as intended and hopefully be protected from the harsh elements out in the environment. Great product and very easy to use...

NOT GREASE! Thick oil instead! No good!
This is NOT grease! What I got was/is a thick, clear oil that POURS from the jar! I was expecting thick grease with an almost “Vaseline”-like consistency similar to all the other silicone greases I’ve used, when I opened the jar, over half of the product poured out on the ground at the jobsite, I thought I was going to dig my finger into the jar to retrieve a bit but lost almost ten bucks worth on the ground. Not cool!

Useless

I used this on a kitchen faucet that moves side to side and had become very stiff to move. Now it moves freely and does not leak. This is one of the few products I found that work with rubber o-rings. Not sure how long it lasts.

I bought this for a scuba diving operation in Cuba. It is a little thinner than some silicone grease that I have at home, but it seems to be the same viscosity as other brands that are intended for scuba equipment. The price is incredibly low!!

Great to lubricate the gasket and the basket of my Big Blue filter. Would be even better if supplied in a "toothpaste type" tube to be easier to use.

It is a little too thin to seem like grease. I wonder what is it the viscosity at 65C around the hot water tap. It is more like a gel at room temperature. However, it does maintain the integrity of rubber seals and lubricates properly. I am not sure if I would use this as dielectric grease in my car.
