You know these USA made capacitors are built to last unlike many cheaper overseas made ones. For me its a no-brainer to pay a few bucks more for quality to have peace of mind, a longer service life and to support local manufacturing.

I have two A/C units one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Recently my blower stopped working upstairs and I narrowed it down to the capacitor. Replaced it within one of these and it’s working fine. A few days later I decided to test the downstairs blower capacitor and sure enough it was reading 5.XX instead of 7.5. Anyways I’m glad I replaced both. Now I will buy 1 more to have as space

Original part from Goodman unit, exactly the same that came out of unit. Measures within spec that its supposed to. Good to have a spare on hand when you need it.

It went on my central a/c unit. It cost more than the China made ones but it is American made and that's a big plus to me! PS: It has a 10 year warranty also!

It's smaller than my old one from my heat and air unit but I got it to have when or if the new one in my unit goes out.

So my AC guy comes out and does his annual check and tells me the capacitor is functional but below the specified tolerance. The bad news is it would cost $180.00 to fix it by replacing a new capacitor. The sad truth is the capacitor lasted about 5 years and the manufacturer uses a "foreign" made one as they are easily available for less! He suggested that the US made ones last longer and are more dependable based on his experience. Long story short, most AC fan and compressor capcitors are made overseas. The Us made ones have a longer life and better guarentee. Here's the catch, if you buy it yourself and replace it, you'll save about $200-$300 in parts and labor. This capacitor cost less than $20 bucks and took 15 minutes of my time. Just be sure when you decide to do this yourself you understand how capacitors work and how to discharge /short them out before removing them. Otherwise let the pros do it!

This is one of the easiest components to install in anything. One bolt, two push on connectors. That's it. The HVAC company wanted over $100 to replace.
