Good show piece make a good decoration for the yard

This is my 7th Safari Ltd model. All snakes. I strongly suspect that, for safety reasons, they make their snake models large. The python, 2 boas, and anaconda models were nice, large, solid pieces of plastic and perfectly sized for display with 1:6 scale figures. But, the cornsnake I got, while sized about the same as them, being a very different and much smaller species, the model's scale was about 1:3. This rattlesnake is even more substantial and, depending on the age of snake you're thinking about, is 1:3 as well or even 1:2. I'd need a scale to confirm if it is indeed even heavier than the anaconda model, which was easily the largest before. But, it is massive. And, it is a thing of beauty! Being made in 2023, the difference between it at my 1995 King Cobra is clear. These latest releases very much benefit from that larger sizing by having plenty of room for great sculptural detailing and very realistic paint detailing. Including those visual traits that any science teacher is going to be discussing such as the heat-seeking pits on this rattlesnakes face and even more so on the emerald tree boa. That attention to educational details really makes the Safari Ltd models stand out from their competition.

I found this product to be very lifelike and beautiful. It's great for indoor or outdoor use. I think it's great for adults or kids. I believe the quality of the product will endure many years to come.

4 stars instead of 5 because I was wanted bigger the hand size it is. I should have paid more attention to the measurements and image that shows. It does look close to the real thing but size, not so much. This would make a great gift for kid who likes snakes and this would be awesome in a fish tank or as a fake pet. I bought mine to scare off rodents. It hasn't happened yet.

Cute, small, and almost convincing.

This will fit in the palm of your hand. It is well-made, but it is shrinkflation. Is well-made I like it. I will keep it but holy cow if this thing was 75% bigger, it would be awesome. It is about the size of an apple $30 for this tiny thing. Hmmmmmm

Great value

Probably not the most logical of purchases, but we do have live rattlesnakes in our area so not completely out of the realms of possibility. The ground squirrels do not seem fazed by anything and are digging everywhere but maybe this will push the needle. Scaring intruders is a side benefit. Scaring husband every time he walked past it sitting in the garage has at least been fun while waiting to position it, therefore realism seems good.
