where is the knife made?

No way to tell. It’s part of a large US base holding company. The box has a sticker that says Made in China AND it also has a German company name of Stiem Handels GmbH on it. I would hazard the guess that it falls under the “components manufactured from world wide sources” and assembled maybe in Germany category. For my 2 cents, it’s not a bad knife all around, but I still prefer my Buck 315 Yachtsman Marlin Spike Knife
