British Classics 10 Ready Meals Microwavable Long-Life Ready Meal Deal Selection

We got these for my 92yr old FIL as he kept taking the refrigerated ready meals out the fridge and putting them in the cupboard. He loves them and this variety pack has all the dishes he loves. It’s a shame the Amazon delivery driver dumped them on our doorstep at 9:27pm and didn’t bother to knock. Thankfully it wasn’t raining and they were still there when our daughter came home from her night shift.

The only positive aspects of these meals are speed of preparation and the convenience of storing without freezing. That’s where anything positive terminates. Quality sacrificed for convenience. They compare very unfavourably with supermarket ready meals. Portions are very small, for which I am actually grateful, as those I sampled, after a few shuddering mouthfuls, went straight in the bin. Some bland, some very weird tasting and all unappetising. The concept is a very good one, however the execution falls well short of even acceptable, which is setting the bar as low as it can be. I experienced some really awful school lunches in the 1950s, but all superior to these. Imagine the worst institutional cuisine and that gives you a good idea of what you’ll get. Bon appetit.

I was very disappointed with the quality and quantity of Parsley Box dinners. The Indian curry was the best of the selection included in the first order. I will not be re-ordering Parsley Box although the concept is very attractive; to be able to store the food without using the freezer.

Tasty food. Sufficient quantity but the meat dishes needed extra vegetables. Can recommend for the lone diner.

Very good food delivered to the door. I found the portions on the small side but then I love my food.

How convenient cupboard storage is. Quick and easy cooking and delicious.

They taste gross & the portion sizes are too small! The only good thing is that you store them in the cupboard instead of the fridge!
