Great item for teachers
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a great product. It does everything I need it to do to show PowerPoints to my class. I like that I can use the mouse function also.

Handy for slideshows when I’m teaching. Handy for playing with the cats when I’m home.
So far I like this, and I haven’t lost the USB thing like I usually do when I take it in to teach. I like the little carrying case. It’s easy to use and it works in my Apple product and at school, which is the HP I believe. I can walk around the classroom and not have to be stuck behind the computer when doing PowerPoint presentations. Plus when I’m home I can use the laser pointer to play with my cats. Remember to turn it off because the batteries die.

Great for the price point
If you're looking for a basic slides remote, this one is great. no setup required, good weight and feel in your hand. Only a 4 because the extra functionality isn't quite intuitive. I could look more into it, but the thing was I didn't NEED it so it didn't bother me. (all I need is something to advance slides, I dont need to open windows, start videos, etc.) Fantastic for the price point. Good range, solid connection, no issues.

Very reliable
Great tool for using the TV's in our weight room and being able to switch slides on my Canva presentations.

Great, affordable clicker!
I am an instructor and I use this regularly in the classroom with both my mac and the provided windows computers. Works great, no issues thus far!

Works great and is more sturdy than many others
I have purchased other USB/USB-C presentation clickers that have the receiver that slides out of the bottom (stick style). Those other ones have a tendancy to break. Either the plastic piece that swivels around and acts as a means to pull the receiver out of the clicker breaks or the receiver breaks apart separating the USB-C side from the USB-A side. This model is built much better as there are fewer "moving" parts. I also like that it takes 2 AAA batteries versus just one in the stick style clickers. It also appears that the range is better on these which could be due to using 2 batteries or they use better electronic components. So far so good!

Not a good buy
Product worked good 1 time, then the digital pointer, magnifier, and spotlight didn't work.

Great Concept, HORRIBLE implementation UPDATED
At first I was VERY impressed with this device... until I trPRed to actually USE it!'PROS:1. Digital version of the Instruction manual and software guide.2. Separate buttons for EACH function (digital/physical laser, spotlight, magnifier, annotated, etc)CONS:EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE SOFTWARE CONSTANTLY LOSES CONNECTION WITH DEVICE, MAKING IT UNACCEPTABLE FOR PROFESSIONAL USE DURING LECTURES!My lectures must comply with very a very strict schedule set by government regulators. This device seems to RANDOMLY stop working, requiring me to force quit the program, then unplug the dongle, and plug it back in.This would not only look bad during a presentation, IT PUTS ME AT RISK OF NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE SCHEDULE.I really wanted to like this device, but until they improve the reliability of the software, I can NOT recommend it to anyone!UPDATE: I discovered that the Presenter works more reliably when the software is copied to the hard drive of the computer and run from there. It is also more reliable when the dongle is DIRECTLY connected to the PC, instead of using a USB Hub
