LiNKFOR 3.5mm to Optical Converter - Analog to Digital Audio Converter with Optical Cable for HDTV Projector PC to Soundbar

No issues at all, needed this as I bought a soundbar which has optical connection only and use a gaming monitor with VRR which has 3.5mm out only for audio. Xbox series x has no optical out and when using a HDMI audio extractor you would lose the ability to use VRR (Variable refresh rate) which is what i experienced and couldn't get used to the downgrade. With this item i am now able to connect the xbox directly to the monitor with a HDMI cable to keep VRR and I use the linkfor adapter to connect from the 3.5mm out of the monitor to the optical in on soundbar so really happy about that as if you've tried gaming with VRR and without there is a noticeable difference with framerate drops and stuttering. Easy to set up, sound quality is unaffected and cable length is good.

I had my doubts but this is great for connecting an old CD Player to a modern set of speakers. It does require USB power. Cable length is excellent with a LED indicator so you know it is powered. Just what I needed.

It worked as expected and able to connect PS5 to a JBL sound bar!

This is a great little product allows use of a soundbar with optical input with a TV/DVD with a phono digital output. Powered by USB, plug and play, the only drawback I have found is with my cheapo soundbar there is a short burst of white noise when changing sound modes. otherwise OK.

Worked well for a few weeks. Now it just crackles and is pretty unusable

Bought this lead for my cheap simple projector (£80 a few years back), to connect to my nice new sound bar. SOUND! Worked perfectly. There are instructions if you need it. Silly me plugged the USB into the sound bar thinking that would power it 😅 read the instructions, you need to connect the USB to a plug. Maybe I'm just stupid, but it might help someone.

Decent price

I needed a solution to connect my speakerless monitor to my Sonos Beam soundbar via the monitor's 3.5mm audio output socket. The Sonos Beam only has an HDMI input but is supplied with a SPDIF to HDMI adapter cable. To be honest, I had quite low expectations for this LINKFOR analogue to digital converter based upon some of the reviews. I, however, can't fault it. The sound quality from my Xbox Series X via the monitor and LINKFOR converter is great with no whining or high pitched noises as reported by others. Easy to connect and good quality for the price. One happy customer who would have no hesitation buying another.

Parfait pour une télé qui ne possède pas de branchement adéquat, j'ai pris le boîtier pour brancher ma barre de son. Simple à installer et fonctionne sans soucis , pas de perte de son.

Justo lo que necesitaba. Funciona perfectamente y ademas al alimentarse por usb lo puedo conectar al mismo reproductor. Igualmente incluye adaptador DC.

Works great, sound is great with no interference. Took forever to come in but I guess worth the wait.

Ne ho presi due, uno per il proiettore ed uno per un vecchio televisore a led che ha come unica uscita audio il jack da 3,5 mm. In confezione c'è tutto il necessario per fare i collegamenti ed il cavo ottico in dotazione è anche abbastanza robusto e spesso. Con questo accessorio ho rimesso in funzione un vecchio televisore ed un sistema 3.1 di casse che non utilizzavo più, così finalmente la sera, mentre mio figlio gioca alla PS5 sul televisore grande (quello buono), io e mia moglie ci possiamo vedere un po' di serie tv sul secondo televisore.
