Excellent magnesium, salt alternative
Good salt, all magnesium and no salt. Magnesium is very beneficial essential mineral for our body. So you're getting a good dose of magnesium in less than a quarter of a teaspoon mixed with water. Does not contain much in the small tube so need to buy 3 or more to last longer if you're using it everyday. Good stuff, doesn't taste like salt.

Good salt substitute
This adds a salt taste without the sodium. It's best not to use too much or it turns bitter, so one container lasts a long time. My blood pressure has dropped a lot since cutting out added salt. I do have to avoid restaurants though, or make sure the chef can make me something without salt. And of course I check the labels of any packaged foods I buy. I follow nutritionist Jeff Novick's guidelines and don't buy any food item with more mg of salt than calories. That's eliminates just about anything but fresh foods from Trader Joe's, sadly.

mitigé
je suis mitigée et j'explique, je voulais un substitut au sel, niveau goût, cela sale vraiment et même bien mais en fin de bouche il y a un arrière goût que je n'aime pas.

Ask your doctor first!
I'm really surprised this is available without a prescription. The amount of potassium in just one serving - 1/6 tsp - is over 5 times the legal limit of potassium allowed in an over-the-counter potassium supplement tablet. Although potassium is safer in food than it is in pill form, moderate amounts of this stuff could be lethal to someone with a kidney problem! Please check with your doctor first before trying this, and don't use it on food you plan to share with others. That said, for those with a green light from their doctor, this is a great salt alternative. It provides a LOT of potassium to fill some gaps in a diet that's deficient in potassium and excessive in sodium. I first tried Morton Lite Salt (mix of sodium and potassium salts) and liked it, so I took the plunge to try this pure potassium salt product. It tastes a little different from regular salt - sort of a vaguely tangy kind of flavor - but it's similar enough to work really, really well. When mixed into food, I can't tell the difference at all. It's a little finer than standard table salt, but not nearly as fine as the special "fine" varieties. I use slightly less of it than I would regular table salt to achieve the same level of saltiness. I will definitely buy again.
