Caramel Candy Mix - 2 Pound Pack - 150 Count - Filled Caramels Individually Wrapped - Vanilla, Chocolate, Apple, and Strawberry Cubes - Creamy Chewy Candy

The texture can be a bit thick and hard to chew at first, so if I had to give any advice... make sure its kept at a warm temp but not a hot temp if you have problems with things that are hard to chew..... the flavor... is quite varied but I can narrow it down to a couple specifics, "normal caramel..., strawberry doughnut flavor (it seriously tastes like a strawberry doughnut...), dark caramel with orange caramel on the inside (my favorite personally), then the dark ones with the white inner part (dark caramel with mint inside, a bit strong for me... maybe if you love mint you may love this.) Overall, the taste is great, i wouldn't say these are stale at all. They taste amazing for each flavor, some just arent my preference. But that does not mean they are not good. (I just find it hard to stomach mint flavors, but its definitely minty) on another note, definitely sturdy. The wrappers are nice too. The price is definitely worth it, a big bag and I mean it is a BIIGGGG bag... For those with a major sweet tooth, I recommend this. I was trying to find something that would keep me away from other....sweets... and I came across these. And I may end up ordering again once I run out. Oh and as a bonus.... add one or two of your favorite caramels to your hot cocoa or coffee. (I did mine with cocoa and it tasted amazing, the normal caramel and the dark orange caramel)... I know the review is a bit long but I wanted to cover the majority of any questions I might also have. Oh but there is one question I dont have the answer to, is it expired. I honestly have no clue and if it is, I wouldn't know. It doesnt taste expired. So in my opinion, no, its not expired, its fresh and safe to eat. I've cheated and had a number in a single timeframe; never had a stomachache or run to the bathroom. So, go for it if you're down to try a variety, have a number in quantity, a taste of unmatched quality, with a price that is consumer friendly.

Zero minus stars. No. Nope. Awful. Thick cello wrappers that are impossible to unwrap. Small chunks of seemingly stale confections with weird fake tastes. Chemical taste, even. Stale. The bag doesn't tell you what country they came from, what company make them. Just that they were repacked by a company in PA who has no relationship with whomever made this terribleness. I am definitely no the only reviewer who is saying these things. Repack no clear origin. You cannot send them back, either. I don't know about melting them but they are hard, stale and taste terrible to me, my guests and my husband. Never again will I purchase anything to eat that does not state the country of origin and list the manufacturer. So disappointed and embarrassed in front of my guests that one wanted to know if these were from last Halloween! Total waste of money. NOT recommended. : (

These caramels are soft and not very chewy. Whereas the apple version overpowers the caramel.. some flavors were hard to find. There are: Vanilla Milk Caramel Strawberry Filling Vanilla Milk and Chocolate Caramel Chocolate Caramel Orange Filling Chocolate Caramel Mint Filling Vanilla Milk Caramel Strawberry Filling: Vanilla Milk Caramel is already very soft, both texturally and taste-wise. There is a lot of Strawberry to the Caramel and this is more a Strawberry candy to me. I like it, as a Strawberry candy closer to taffy. Vanilla Milk and Chocolate Caramel: This one is a half and half caramel. The chocolate side is like a really soft Tootsie Roll. Unfortunately, here it doesn't overpower the caramel, but rather mixes into something that's neither Caramel nor Chocolate? I don't really know how to describe it, but I love it initially for the Tootsie Roll impact, then end up less than thrilled with it by the end. It has almost a nutty aftertaste? Chocolate Caramel Orange Filling: I didn't even realize there were Orange filled ones at first. The chocolate caramel is good - very Tootsie Roll and the orange is more subtle. Once I knew what it was, it was easier to discern. Chocolate Caramel Mint Filling: A chewier version of Andes Thin Mints! They're great if that's what you're looking for, but in a mixed bag of flavors they are overpowering. I found my self separating them all out and putting them in a bag kept near the dining table for the after dinner mint use. The wrappers on all the caramels are tougher to get off - you definitely need nails to pry up the plastic and most of them rip on the way off - either melded with the candy and hard to get off or the plastic folds seem melted together. I didn't eat any plastic by accident, but it was noticeably harder to unwrap than Kraft caramels. While they are okay on their own, they don't work well in a mixed bag. It'll take me a while to finish 2 pounds and I'm not sure if I'll re-order.

Caramels are good but a little hard, if you are looking for soft caramels, I would try a different one.

They're OK at best but they all taste the same...like a Tootsie Roll.

Absolutely amazing the strawberry and the apple ones are the best but all flavors are not bad these are a little hard but not horrible! I would definitely recommend and I would buy them again in a heartbeat 💓

I didn't find them hard, . But they tasted awful! They did not taste anythin like caramels. Absolutely no caramel taste whatsoever. And nearly three quarters of them were filled with that green stuff and I couldn't tell you what that is. Very disappointed! When I buy caramels I expect them to at least partially taste like caramel.
