Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, Product of Italy, 16.9 oz (Pack of 2)

Just received my order. I just want to say that your packaging for this item was exceptional. I was kind of worrying after I ordered this, "how will it arrive". It arrived in perfect condition. I wish other sellers would package items like you did. This is a great product, full of flavor. I have been using this for years.

It’s the best. The quality and taste.

This is a very high end balsamic Vinegar that you can drizzle on anything. I have used it to dip bread, drizzle on baked veggies before baking in the oven, and drizzled on Popcorn, potato chips, and other snacks. There are so many uses and this is a seriously great value as you only need a little bit to go a long way.

Last autumn, I took a river/land cruise thru Italy. While there, I bought a bottle of high end balsamic vinegar from Modena which I loved. When I saw this at the price, had to try it. As others have noted, the box itself is a work of art. The bottle is so Beautiful, you almost don't want to open it. This vinegar is Not like others, i.e. water like consistency. It is much thicker, almost syrup like. Because of this, it lends itself well to a larger variety of uses and recipes. If you are a balsamic vinegar fan but have never tried or used "Real" balsamic vinegar, try this one!

I’m not a balsamic vinegar expert. We usually have a small bottle on hand of whatever brand seems to have the right price/quality ratio. The really expensive, ultra-aged ones fascinate me, but not enough to drop big bucks on something that I probably wouldn’t be able to distinguish from a cheaper one. Thus, when this Monari Federzoni Elena 1912 Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena hit my Vine queue, I saw it as an opportunity to try one that was more expensive than any that I would ever buy at the grocery store. Even as a non-expert, I know that age is a key attribute of balsamic vinegars, so I was surprised to find no mention in the Product Description, or on the bottle or its packaging, stating how long this one was aged (unless I missed it, and I don’t think I did). A previous balsamic vinegar that I got through Vine was aged for a middle-of-the-road 10 years in several different types of ancient wood casks, and then bottled with no preservatives or artificial ingredients. With this one, there is no such information. With that said, it’s dark, rich and viscous--it doesn’t pour from the bottle, it comes out in thick drops--and it tickles the nose with aromas of wood, spices and ripe red fruits. On the palate, it adroitly combines a tangy, mouth-puckering acidity with a deep, savory sweetness that adds unmistakable sensory qualities to whatever dish it’s used on. Packaged in an elegant Art Déco bottle in an attractive giftable box, it has myriad uses in the kitchen to instantly and assertively spice up the most pedestrian dishes. This balsamic vinegar seems to be a good example of the genre, and the 200ml in the bottle will last for a while. I just wish I knew how long it was aged, as a matter of curiosity, since most such products boldly tout their age, with the oldest ones being regarded as the best. Where does this one lie on that scale? Inquiring minds want to know…

If you’re a fan of the Olive Garden oil and vinegar for breadsticks, this balsamic vinegar is as close as you’ll get to what they serve in the restaurants (along with a high quality extra virgin olive oil). Delicious on salads as well. This brand is very hard to find in stores. A great deal on Amazon.

This Balsamic Vinegar is packaged very well. I use it in my soups and salad dressings, but it also has a very important use. My daughter has acid reflux and takes a pill for this, but that’s not enough. I searched for a natural remedy and discovered Balsamic Vinegar! Put a little honey on a tablespoon and fill it with this Balsamic Vinegar. Take this 15 minutes before each meal and at bedtime. This particular Balsamic Vinegar is sweet and very tasty! It comes wrapped very carefully! I highly recommend this product!

Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, hat ein ganz anderen Geschmack als die herkömmliche. Lecker👌
