I've had a few different ones and this one tastes the best. The others were thick with a bitter taste. Berberine has really helped get my sugar levels under control.

As I mentioned on my original review the taste is good. More sweet than expected, but the most immportant thing is that it actually does spike my blood sugar. Also the color you see of the product is not what is in my bottle. Mine looks like dark molasses. Maybe that is what I actually got instead of what was advertised.Would not buy it again!I can not return it but as you can see it is not at all what it is supposed to be. Dissapointing. You can get mollasses very cheap and not pay this price for who know what this is.

When I looked online for this company, I saw that they historically have combined reviews and ratings. Do your research about them: there doesn’t seem to be a ton and they are from China.The product itself seems decent. The ingredient list is good and the taste is a subtle cinnamon. The herbs in the combination are in small quantities, probably not enough to be statistically significant for a daily dose. The berberine IS at a standard daily dose, however. Overall, seems to be a decent product. I’d just like more transparent information about the company, ingredients’ countries of origin, and proper labeling from page to label.

Meaning I know what the FDA requires for labels, I know the difference between non GMO and GMO free, that the word 'natural' rarely means what consumers think it means, I pick up on the differences in phrases like 'formulated in the USA' and 'made in the USA'. Sometimes we see one phrase and assume it means the other often used similar phrase. I also always compare the ad, including the title, the printed words, as well as the photos. I don't like discrepancies, but if I see them, I point them out in reviews, and always believe the label on the product over any ad claims.The title for this product states 'Organic Berberine', yet no where on the product does it say that the berberine is organic. There are some organic products listed, but since it's not listed as organic, I consider the berberine to not be grown organically.The 'other ingredients' are always where I look to find what non beneficial items are in the supplement. Sometimes I accept them, but since we take many different supplements in our house, I try to avoid them to avoid a 'bucket effect' of getting too many fillers. This Bunkka Berberine supplement uses only Purified water, vegetable glycerine and organic apple extract. That's a huge plus.The other 'active' ingredients are good choices to help support the immune system & for gastrointestinal care. Berberine is a bitter-tasting, but since it's a glycerine based extract, the glycerine adds sweetness so there is no bitter flavor. Because of the organic apple extract, there is a slight apple flavor.The supplement came in 2 sealed 2 oz bottles that were shrink wrapped together so it's doubly sealed. The price is $27, currently available for 30% making it only $18.90 for 2 bottles, just $9.45 per bottle. Using the recommended 2 ml daily, each bottle should last 30 days.There is no country of origin on the label, but as required for sale in the USA, there is US contact information for the company. It is the bare minimum required, which is an address. I like to see a phone number or a website with a 'contact us' area, or an email address.I rated this supplement at 4 stars, it seems like a great supplement choice but lacks some label information and has an ad discrepancy. I wouldn't hesitate to order again if the price were the same and I notice a benefit.

I started with a 1 ml dropper full and still got the energy boost plus. There is a noticeable difference in my sugar cravings which immediately went away when I use this. The Organic Green Tea is giving me an added metabolism boost and the Turmeric is good to help with inflammation. Dandelion Root for my immune system. Many other quality ingredients that are supporting my health and my energy. It has a mildly bitter flavor but is balanced out by the organic apple extract and is tasty once I tried it I was hooked.
