Good alcohol in at a reasonable price.
I've started working with polymer clay and alcohol inks are used to color or decorate the clay, so I decided to try these, as they're reasonably priced and the colors look vibrant. I also appreciate the fast shipping offered. I read the enclosed instructions and started coloring my translucent clay so that I'd have samples to reference and to compare how the color changed when the clay was baked. I tried Pinata Inks in the past and they changed quite a bit when baked. I like the colors and found they changed very little when baked. My color chart is in the photo. The round pieces are baked clay and the smaller ones are raw clay. I look forward to using them more in the future.

Fun to work with, but do it fast!
I usually use acrylic paint, but wanted to try the alcohol ink. I usually paint vases, glass, or canvas. It is fun to work with, but dries quickly. The colors look good. I've tried about five shades. To get staining off your hand or other things, use hydrogen peroxide and soap and a toothbrush. They do clog, so have your straight pin ready. They do spray weird also, so be careful. Do not use scissors to cut the top off. I am very clumsy, so I had my husband do it. I'm not sure about durability. I am going to experiment more, but will have to use spray clear coat. I don't trust myself with epoxy or resin. Yes, the bottles are very small, but a little goes a long way. first photo, clear vase, I tried my hand at flowers, then I screw up the clear coat. Had to scrape off. Send try, a line around the rim. If I put flowers in it you can't see it, so I'm going to try to other lines around it. The red, orange and red bottle I'm not thrilled with, it was to bright, so I put some white acrylic on it to tone it down

Good for a starter kit
Iโm an artist and have wanted to experiment with alcohol inks but using them to make more realistic paintings than some of the ones Iโve seen (very nice but more abstract). I kind of wanted to push the limits but also use canvas (specially primed) as a substrate. The attached painting is unfinished but you can get the idea. These inks have good color but it seems to evaporate quickly. You also have to take precaution opening the bottles for the first time because the ink will go everywhere. You need to stick a pin in the top before putting the cap in to prevent leakage. I was able to achieve the results I wanted by using a lot of different techniques so overall Iโm happy. But there are probably better inks out there.

My very first attempt
So learning to use these, I have a long ways to go. My first attempt was fun and very colorful but not a masterpiece at all lol. Once I get it down on how to use these. I think I will be able to make a lot of cool art piece. The colors are so beautiful and vibrant its just they are going to take time to learn. But I think they are well worth it

BEST alcohol paint!
I make glass mosaics from crushing glass jars and coloring the shards myself to save $$. I ordered a set and it wasn't a great product, took too many drops to achieve color needed and most of the color stayed on the drying paper, not on the glass. Never dried completely so wasted all that glass.I researched a LOT and chose these to try again. Blew my mind, comes with small orange tips with needle inside to open effortless, not one drip was lost. Opened it and dropped in 4 drops, unreal how that was all it took. Checked in an hour, was totally dry and the drying paper underneath had NO runoff. Colors are incredible, so glad tried these and won't ever use anything else from now on. Bravo for such an amazing spectrum of colors and it stays put on the glass. THIS is the paint I've needed for years- finally found the "Holy Grail" of paints!

Great set of inks.
Looking for some inks that had many colors in a set. These work well with my more expensive ones.

Hard to open
The biggest complaint is when opening the inks for the first time a lot of the ink comes out so a lot is wasted. As careful as I was I lost almost 1/2 bottle on some ๐

Not great
Inks donโt spread to well compared to the ones we have been using. Some bottles were only half full. For the price we โthoughtโ we were getting better.

Good.
Love the pigments. Very rich colors. Came very speedily and in a timely manner. However, I was very disappointed as I did notice that a few of the bottles {namely the red) were opened and were not filled. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
