great value for price
bought these for my wife, she LOVES them, I am a bit of a knife snob. I don't care about how much I spent, I just want good quality metal, at a great price. this knife, and its Japanese style chef's knife work great! thin blade slices so smoothly, my wife uses them instead of her slicer for vegetables, and such. I do wish the shank went all the way through the handle. However at this price I will just buy again when these fail.
