the pour spout is worth the price
Works well. The 'break in' instructions were extensive which I did not follow. The product sat for several weeks before i needed the crucible for some sign work. Worked just fine without the breakin. The pour spout is a big plus

It is very durable.
I bought this product for my husband, and he loved it. You can work at very high temperatures in this crucible, and it takes a long time to wear out to the point where it can no longer be used.

Accurate pouring
It makes pouring far more precise. I purchased 3 and thoroughly enjoyed the ease of pouring. Except for the early failures of all three. Each began cracking after minimal use and then fell apart. I purchased the three in October and they have all failed in 90 days or less.
