Just wire it to a normal household plug, plug it into a wall socket and it will work absolutely fine. Hope that helps.

Can this be wired up to the mains in the UK? If so how?

Hi This motor can be used in the U.K. The motor is supplied with a capacitor, that allows you to select the rotation cw or ccw, the one I had came with instructions on how to connect the capacitor.the motor actually runs at 1rev every 58 seconds.
