Pricey but high quality
This is a high quality building kit. The pieces are well-made, and the Eiffel Tower was impressive once built. A few things though - the directions are good but not great, and the structure is not very strong. Not all of the pieces fit together perfectly due to the angles (vs defects with the pieces), but overall I thought it was worth the high price. If you are not at all mechanically inclined, this will be challenging. Most likely possible, but challenging.

Great Product
I wanted a construction tool that I could use in a geometry class to build different sorts of angles and shapes. I like the product because it’s perfect for the classroom. Durable materials, smooth surfaces, and plenty of parts to encourage creativity. Love the product.

Good gift
My grandson enjoyed them. If you're child is into Lego, double check that they're not going to be disappointed. The set is great but you have to manage expectations.

Sucks
Horrible product. Not kid friendly. Not even adult friendly. Instructions are terrible. Every time you put a piece together something pops off. Horrible design. Not happy. Do not recommend and wish I could return.

For any engineering mind
Bought for my 11 year old grandson. He is very much the engineer and loves this. Built Effiel tower immediately. Worth the price.

Very cool, but very complicated
1) The age rating on this set is 8–16. To be honest, I don’t see how an 8-year-old could do the set. It requires enormous patience, fine motor skills, and hand strength. The illustrations in the instruction manual are often unclear because of the small size or dark ink, and it is often critical to have parts facing the right direction. 2) The engineering specs are off. Many parts would connect correctly on one side, but not the other. Or when I tried to connect on one end, the other end would pop loose. This happened over and over, after hours of work on the Eiffel Tower. So I decided to take it apart and start from scratch with the Sydney Harbour Bridge. 3) The Sydney Harbour Bridge was a pretty straightforward project. Only in the final three steps did I have to deviate very slightly from the instructions so that the parts would connect on both ends. When you're done, the bridge measure's 4 ft. 8 in. from one end of the deck to the other and 4 ft. from one pier to the other.

wonderful
got this for my grandson who loves a challenge...He did the Eiffel tower and the first few steps was a challenge - then once he got past page 8 off he went...He stood beside it when it was done and same size as him..He wants to do the bridge next but I want to show it off still cause I can not believe it.....Great set for boys 8-9 and up

Great
Children can construct exciting models while learning scientific and technological subjects and doing experiments in each theme. Also a good activity for : "together parent-child"activity. After composing all the models in the book, the child become an expert and can imagine new structures. Best gift for him if you wish your child will become an architect
