I found this lovely devise very sleek and easy to use. I included a picture of the directions which were laid out extremely clearly with pictures along with written instruction. I am not a technical person and own an older iPhone and was able to use this device. It is very portable and can be easy to travel with. With background noises, it still was able to pickup my voice. I obviously was not able to check 52 languages but was able to translate exactly what I said in the written words too. My daughter has already asked my to borrow it when she returns to South Korea :) It would make a nice family gift and could be shared if among family and friends if they travel internationally or even here in the States. Being wireless makes it so easy to use. The fun part of this item is that you could listen to and visually see the other languages or even double check your own foreign language skills by making sure you are saying the word/sentence correctly. I recommend this translator as a great tool for travel or at home, for work or for play!

I bought this when I was going to Japan. when I tested in my room, it worked great. When I actually took it and tried it on the streets of Tokyo...it did not work. It picks up too much background noise and was not hearing what I was saying. I end up downloading an app on my phone and that worked much better.

I really wanted to give this device a glowing review. I used it with friends visiting from Germany. It allowed us to converse and have a wonderful time. It gets things wrong from time to time, but that just made us all laugh louder. The real problem with this device is the crazy number of times i need to restart my phone to get my phone and device to conect. (Samsung s7edge.) Guests will be here for about another week. We now use google translate at home. (No conection issues with google). We continue to use Palomi device when we go out. Their phones have large roaming charges, so this device and MY phone work well for that situation.

you must have a cell phone for it to work and internet. If you want the conversation to be two way, you need two of them and two cell phones. That said, they do what they claim they can do,

Requires an iPhone. Android phones do not work with the Required App. I tried using other Apps but they are not supported by the Pulomi device. In may opinion the Pulomi is a waste of money as it requires a phone to translate. If that's the case, why use the Pulomi at all?

DO not waist your money on this product. Never got it to work. Esential software is non functional. The unit is gathering dust. Took so long to figure out that the refund option was gone otherwise I would have returned this for my money back.

Easy to use and the size is easy to store

It arrived quite quickly But the excitement soon led to disappointment I considered it to be faulty, 15 mins to connect after turning itself off. Failed to respond to vocal input, didn't understand what was being said in English Came with some type of external button that was not mentioned in any instructions. Pressing it produced nothing! The app was also not easy to find on google play, listed way down the line

Instructions hard to follow, but it's easy once you know how to set it up. It's really convenient and effective with most sentences.

Connection to mobile is very poor
