I’m not holding that against the book itself since the content wasn’t damaged and remained fully readable. This book has been so helpful as a reference. This is a very good book to understand basic concepts of Python.

DO NOT BUY, not for beginners and most likely was written by LLM. Lack of coherence between the chapters as if each was prompted separately without knowledge or background of the previous chapters. As an example at the start of the book, after a practical exercise section there is a "Solutions" section which starts with "Certainly! Here are the solutions to the exercises proposed..." Absolute waste of time and money.
