Secure, Strong and light. What else would you want?
Fabulous lock. It is quite light and very strong. Certainly I would not lock up an out of eye sight $5,000 bicycle but it give one great confidence when you stop at the coffee shop or run in to mail a package. While it's venerability it to snips few petty thieves have those. I bought one for my son so he can lock his bike while at school and it is easy for him to operate. I would highly recommend it.

Light weight, easy to use protection for your bike.
Light weight and easy to carry. I have several of these locks. I keep some attatched to my various bikes so I am never without. I took a 60 inch lock with me while traveling in Europe. Keeping lugage weight down is essential, so no one wants to sacrifice 5 pounds to a lock. But no one wants their precious bicycle stolen either. I could lock my bike nearly anywhere while visiting museums, shopping or sight seeing. Is this a cheap lock? No. But would you trust your bike's safety to a cheap lock? I don't think so. And I like that I can set my own combination code.

A very expensive low security lock
So, I’ve had this lock for two years now. It gets very minimal use. I usually take it with me on explore the city rides where I might need to hop into a restaurant for a quick bite or drink. My heavier duty locks I use commuting to work. Well the lock jammed up and I couldn’t get it open. Maybe if I had more time I could’ve gotten it free, but I didn’t want to continue wasting my day off trying to figure out why this lock wouldn’t open. I went to the px and bought a cheap $15 dollar pair of aviator snips. In 30 seconds and 5-6 snips I had cut through this lock with ease. Is this lock better than nothing? Sure, but at this price point it isn’t much better than a $10 combo lock. The locking mechanism also has a habit of premature failure and jamming up. I don’t know from an engineering standpoint what causes that or how to fix it, I just know for the average person that pretty much kills their lock. I knew it was minimal defense, but it was easily defeated with tin snips. I won’t be buying this lock again. I’ll be carrying a cheap combo lock for my road bike runs or wrapping a lighter chain on the frame. Dollar per security and durability for the product is poor. I salute them for thinking outside of the box, but from a bicycle commuter I would steer clear of this in the future. Can be defeated with cheap tools and locking mechanism is known to fail and not open.

Convenient, small, and pretty good
I have one of these for quick trips around town where I want to lock my bike, but I'm not thinking I need maximum protection. The best features are that it's small, and coils up easily with it's own retention. It's reasonably light and small enough that it fits in my jeans back pocket or similar. The main downside I find is that the numeric combo lock is a little finicky to use. It's small and just hard (than I'd like) to turn each dial individually. But, otherwise, great little lock that fits my particular need.

This is the lock I use with my scooter and I love it
Okay, sometimes you need a super tough U lock because you're going to leave an expensive bike or scooter out overnight or something like that... for a long time. But other times, you are writing your daily commuter and you just want to duck into a store for five or 10 minutes, and you know full well that a cable lock is not quite strong enough. Enter this, the Ottolock. It's ribbon form factor means that it rolls up very nicely, and it uses Kevlar, which is hard to cut through with a saw or even with bolt cutters. It's just a pain in the ass to cut through those bullet proof vest material fibers. So what this means is it is a good lock to bring with you if you are hopping around town and just need a quick way to lock up your bike or scooter. It's so light, you can shove it into the pocket of a winter coat and not even notice it is there. Or you can just hang it from the handlebar, but if you want to there is also an accessory bracket. If you are into road bikes are racing bikes, this is a great way to have a lock with you without weighing things down. Now you can run into the bathroom really quick and not worry about your bike, and yet be traveling as late as possible.

Wonderful for short trips away from bicycle.
This is a locking solution for quick trips away from your bicycle. It functions more as a deterrent because it can be quite easily cut by a determined thief. I used it to secure my bicycle when I made quick trips into restaurants and grocery stores during my bicycle tour loop around the United States. It provided me just the right amount of mental comfort while I would be away from my bicycle.

Light, easy to use combo lock
I loved that the lock was light, compact, and easy to use. It gave me peace of mind when I would go into a grocery store, for instance, as I could quickly and easily lock the bike to a bike stand or sign post. As per the product literature, this lock is not the most secure as it could be cut using power tools or bolt cutters quite easily but for its weight and compactness it’s a great option for bicycle touring where you just need something to deter the temptation of rolling the bike away. Loved the product.

Good. A little stiff to start with
Good. Feels light strong and easy to use, once I had figured out that the catch was just a bit stiff to start with.

Lightweight handy kock
So far so good , but relying on the reviews that say these are very hard to cut through. Easy to pack , curled up on itself , very light. Ideal !
