Why aren’t these vegan? I see that they’re vegetarian but cannot see why they are not vegan?

Hello! Thanks for asking your question! Our new SmartyPants ORGANICS gummy vitamins are packed with vegetarian omega-3 (sourced from organic flaxseed oil), probiotics, and essential nutrients . We include Vegetarian Omega-3 ALA sourced from organic flax seed oil, Probiotic Bacillus subtilis , vitamin D as D3 , vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, vitamin B6 as P5P, vitamin K as K2 (MK7), and folate as methylfolate. While no animals are used in the products, the vitamin D3 we include is sourced from wool shorn from sheep. Because of this, our Organics products are not vegan, but they are certified-vegetarian through the American Vegetarian Association.
