A wonderful cavalcade of Gillian Ayers paintings - super reproductions - what energy - what a colourist. Not sure about text though - have concentrated on 'looking' at the illustrations of which there are many - some might say too many. The book is great value for money.

High quality photography. Seems quite comprehensive. Sounds like an honest explanation of her thinking and techniques. Definitely a book I leaf through regularly. Highly recommended.
