Looking for a starter cube? I want to like this speed cube, but the GAN 356 RS2 is a bit too mushy for me. The cube made my average solving times slower because the cube turns into a trapezoid. The layers are very flexible and I felt the need to put the cube on a flat surface to even all the layers out. There are a few things that I really like about GAN 356 RS2. Specifically, the cube turns really well. It’s smooth and fast, and most importantly the cube doesn’t catch edges. The internal honeycomb handles cube lube really well too. This is a good cube to learn solving on, but difficult to use at high speed. Recommended for beginners. Pros: - Smooth turning - Bright colors that are easy to distinguish from each other - Adjustable - Internal surface is honeycombed for smoothness - Well build - All the edges fit snugly together Cons: - Goes from cube to trapezoid, so it slows timed solutions down.

This is a decent cube - it turns smoothly and fast. For me it’s a little too loose and fast so I have to be very careful that I don’t overturn it. It’s a good cube to learn on, but as you get faster it takes a lot of energy to not overturn it.
