Sounds great, but ease of use is the differentiator
Coming from the HX Stomp the Ampero has similar tones but the ease of use I think is industry leading. Very easy to create and modify patches. Bluetooth connectivity is very nice - I use it with the Bandhelper app to automate patch and scene selection. Desktop editor is very good. Community not as evolved as the heavyweight modelers but hopefully that comes with time. Overall, very hard to beat at this price point.

Amazing.
The possibilities are amazing with this. Has a lot in it but still easy to navigate. Sounds are good. I can use it with both my electric and acoustic guitars. Feels like a quality well thought out effects pedal. I do wish it had the expression pedal built in but that’s a small complaint. You can use one and if you have one it will work with it.

Quality build and design, but effects need improvement.
This unit excels at portability, functionality, connectivity, flexibility, overall design and ease of use. However, there are numerous bugs and some design flaws in the software. I'm counting on these to be fixed with future software and firmware updates. The amp/cab models seem on par with other modern rigs. But the main weakness is in the effects models. The verbs and delays are adequate but not impressive. There is nothing like a bucket brigade chorus which is disappointing. The modulation effects are sub-par. In fact, most choruses sound like a flanger and are very low resolution. Processing power seems limited and it seems they've scaled back modulation quality due to that. I'm hoping they get better algorithms in future updates. I've had a digitech ipb-10 for nearly 12 years and it offers far superior effects in modulations, choruses, flangers, etc. But it's early in the Ampero life cycle, and they can only improve. Let's hope they raise the quality of the sounds to match that of the hardware and program ability, which are excellent. Provisional 4 stars...

Incredible Device
This device is phenomenal, especially for the price. No issues setting it up and using it, even on Linux, and the interface is easy to use most of the time (some things are a little unintuitive, but it doesn't take too much to figure it out). But most importantly, the quality of the emulation here is fantastic. It sounds really, really good, and have a very diverse set of options. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the limits on processing and number of effects in the signal chain. But that's expected for a more trimmed down, lower cost model - I certainly wouldn't expect any more.

Mine was listed as new but was used.
AWEGOO listed as new unit, it was used. Obvious wear, screens had been modified by whomever had it prior. Parts missing, Glad I returned it, got my refund from Amazon, then went to Sweetwater to order a new one that I knew would be brand new because the unit is very, very good. Built well, sounds great. Well worth the price.

This is the MFX to get. So many features with great sound quality
Installed the latest update. The Ampero II is very good sounding, with lots of connectivity and routing options. This is pro level equipment at half the price of some bigger brands out there. The signal is crystal clear, free of background noise. USB recording is very good, the balanced XLR out are good. What sets this unit appart is the Stomp and Patch mode switch and the scenes that allows for really quick navigation between sounds. The tone catch feature is a game changer for me. I can basically clone my amps and drive pedals. As most of my gigs are ampless and with IEM, It means I can finally capture my own rig and have my own sound in a single pedal. I am a bass player and there is not many amp models in the unit. However I started cloning my sansamp, GK amp, Mesa etc.... and when I A/B them, I would say that the clones are 95% accurate. (Some low end goes missing but there is an EQ on the clones for final adjustments) For those who comes from either the Ampero I or the Valeton GP-200, the effects have been improved in sound quality, adjustments and overall feel. Cons: For bass players there is not many bass amp models and cab. For guitar there are some amp models that could have been better or I would have enjoyed a wider variety of models. When the unit is using a clone model or a patch with heavy DSP the editor becomes a bit sluggish The DSP is a bit limited If you need to make a very complex patch but overall for most users it will not be a problem. I am not only pleased I am surprised at all I am getting at a fraction of the price of a Quad Cortex, Anagram and similar higher end modelers. Highly recommend

Best modeler for the money!
I have tried all of the guitars modelers/profilers/effects processors in the past & I can say that by far this is a top quality item! + Very good build quality + Top-notch guitar effects + Extremely intuitive control with the touchscreen + Impressive amp modeling In my ears, most amps & effects are better than Line6 Stomp HX, that is the "big rival". I even prefer it over Neural DSP. I cannot say about its durability, since I don't own it for a long time.

Ottimo come mi aspettavo!
