Product itself is fine. No issues. However do not buy this if you are wanting to make a clay clock (like on Instagram) the rod that the hands sit on is too shallow. Our clay clockis about 3mm thick and I've had to glue the clock mechanism box to the back as it won't fit any other way. I think this is only suitable for a clock face that's thin like paper.

Ordered to replace a 30 year old mechanism from an M&S clock and surprisingly it all fitted quite well, some instructions beyond the pictures above may have helped but I figured it out. The hands were too long for the clock so I used the originals which fitted but the new spindle for the second hand was too narrow so had to cut down and use the new second hand which all worked fine - the battery slot is very snug but will fit - keeps good time and has restored a much loved even if not particularly valuable kitchen clock.

Worked perfectly saved throwing a clock away that the wife liked and bonus is the second hand as the original didn't have. Value great, and nice and quiet bonus.

Used in outside wall clock, it was easy to fit, looks great whichever hands you use (there’s a selection included) AND keeps excellent time- recommended.

Clock hands were slightly bent on arrival, managed to straighten them up. Worked fine for a week and now has stopped working. You can hear the mechanism ticking away but hands not moving. Cheap to buy but expected it to last a bit longer.

This would be ideal for a small wall clock. Bought for a replacement fitting for a larger wall clock. Easy enough to fix but fittings and hands are quite small. Will see how long it lasts but still cheaper than buying a replacement clock. It is silent though

So the good news is that it works and that's the main thing. I didn't even know these things existed and have kept an old unworking clock because I liked it so much so when I told about these, I was super happy. Downside is that the piece of rubber made it far too small to do anything with so I had to leave that off, the washer and bolt didn't connect as there wasn't enough room once through the clock so I had to leave them off and use the pieces off the old one to get it to properly fit and work as it should. Main thing is that it's working, though.
