Love it for my self its not for everyone
Chicory coffee has been a great game changer for me its popularity as a caffeine-free alternative to traditional coffee, and for good reason. Made from the roasted roots of the chicory plant, this beverage offers a unique flavor profile that is both earthy and slightly nutty. One of the standout features of chicory coffee is its rich, robust taste. It has a depth that can mimic the flavor notes of regular coffee, making it a great option for those looking to cut back on caffeine without sacrificing a satisfying brew. Many people enjoy it with milk or cream, which enhances its creaminess and rounds out the flavor.Health-wise, chicory coffee contains inulin, a prebiotic fiber that can aid digestion and promote gut health. It's also low in calories and free from caffeine, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary preferences. However, it's worth noting that chicory coffee may not appeal to everyone. Some find its flavor a bit too bitter or earthy, especially if they're used to the smoothness of traditional coffee. Additionally, those with allergies to ragweed should exercise caution, as chicory is part of that family.Overall, chicory coffee is an intriguing alternative for coffee lovers seeking variety or those looking to reduce their caffeine intake. Its unique taste, coupled with potential health benefits, makes it worth a try for anyone curious about this herbal brew.

Perfect. Strong. Satisfying
I never expected anything to replace a strong bold cup of coffee, but I am very pleasantly surprised with this. I have been an avid coffee drinker my entire life. I have liked brands such as café Burrell, any espresso, Peet’s major Dickinson blend - I’ve been that person who uses the smallest amount of water and presses the strong button on the Keurig. This not coffee is stronger than any of that so now I just use a regular amount of water. I don’t press the strong button and it is absolutely perfect. If you love a strong bold cup of coffee, you will be very surprised about how much you love this too

Yummy!
I've always loved the flavor of Chicory Coffee. I had a health issue that required me to lay off caffeine but I didn't want to give up my morning Joe. Coffee is/was very important to me. I started looking for coffee alternatives in K-Cup form and came across this. 🎉🎉🎉 I like it better than my usual Community Chicory Coffee. The first time I made it I used 8oz water and It was relatively strong flavored so the next time I used 10oz. It makes the perfect cup of delicious flavored faux coffee! I'm here in Amazon too but more, but thought I'd go ahead and leave a review while I'm here.

Great caffeine free alternative; but took some adjusting
In preparation for a medical procedure one of the prerequisites was to avoid any blood thinners for 2 weeks. I find it hard to make it throughout a day without coffee so I quick needed an alternative that could get me by. I have had a good experience with the Community brand coffee half coffee and half chicory, so I thought that chicory would be the best alternative. I found it very difficult to even find any 100% chicory K cup option. I stumbled on the nuKAF brand and looked at the reviews. I knew from the reviews to expect a pronounced bitterness of which some people loved, but others hated. I like to add a non dairy creamer to my coffee so I like to have a little bit of boldness to the coffee flavor. Noting that I might expect a little bite to the nuKAF brand I ordered a 6 pack of the K cups and hoped for the best. When I first tried the nuKAF brand I was not pleased with the flavor. I could not over power the bitter chicory edge no matter how much of the creamer I was using at the time (milkadamia) that I doused it with. I also found that same problem when trying to neutralize the bitterness with the nutpod brand creamer. Flat out I could not rid the unwanted bitterness with an unsweetened creamer option. There has been a sweetened non dairy brand that I have been using occasionally, Planet Oat brand. First I tried this with the Vanilla flavor, but found this chicory/creamer combination to taste too mediciny. Finally I tried this with Planet Oats Caramel flavor and to my delight found that I really do like this combination of the bitter chicory with the complimentary flavor of caramel. I am beyond the phase where I needed to avoid blood thinners, and yet I am finding it easier to enjoy more cups per day without any caffeine afternoon side effects.I don't know if it even would be possible to have a medium roast with the nuKAF brand, perhaps that is why the buying options for chicory are so limited. If this was possible it might be possible for myself to enjoy this type of K cup without adding a creamer with sugar in it.

Chicory Coffee Alternative Thumbs up!!!
I’ve been drinking chicory coffee for about a year, and it’s been a godsend. I’ve never been able to handle caffeine, and even decaf coffee bothered me, so I couldn’t enjoy coffee despite loving the flavor.Chicory changed that for me. No, it’s not exactly the same as coffee, but it’s close—and honestly, I’ve grown to enjoy its flavor even more than traditional coffee. These K-Cups are convenient, and I also buy bulk chicory to use with my pour-over coffee maker. There are different flavors available, and I like mine with a little sugar and some light cream. Yum!

not great
it tastes like day old coffee that I put in the microwave. If I put enough creamer in it, I can make it work, but it's not something I would drink every day.

Close substitute, worth a try!
I had to swap coffee for another warm beverage in the morning for health reasons. This is a close substitute. I will always miss coffee but I am very happy to have found this.Definitely worth a try.

Not as bitter as you may think
I was concerned about the reviews talking about the bitter taste. I see what they’re talking about but I don’t find it that bitter. May just be my tastebuds 🤷♀️ I like this better than herbal tea or decaf and good for avoiding bladder irritants and maintaining a morning coffee feeling which is what I was after.

Great flavour!
Very good product, really nice flavour, just a bit strong. Would be perfect if just slightly less strong, but still, highly recommend if you are trying to avoid coffee and caffiene in a natural way.
