A must have in your side by side trail tool bag ( with an extra inner tie rod end )
I bought this for my side by side after breaking the inner tie rod end. the multiple range one was too big for my Teryx, but the U-bolt one is perfect and made removal & replacement so easy. Before getting this tool, I tried to use wrenches to remove the inner tie rod, they were too long, even the stubby wrenches because of the brake master cylinder on one side and the A-Arms on the other ( drivers side ). Then I got this tool and it was super easy to remove & replace the tie rod end. On my next time out, I broke the inner tie rod on the other side (passenger). Thankfully I had this tool and a spare inner tie rod with me and fixed it on the trail in about 5 minutes and was able to keep going, unlike the 1st. time. This is a must have in your trail tool bag ( along with an extra inner tie rod ). Especially if you do harder trails. I no longer need this tool since I bought the Overdose Fab & Offroad tie rods custom made for Teryx's with the Hester Motorsports long travel kit & Elka shocks and I no longer have inner tie rod ends, but I am so impressed with it that I will keep it in my trail tool bag in case others on the trail need it. Don't ruin your weekend on Friday night like I did the 1st. time and offroad parks don't give refunds, on the weekend trail pass or the cabin you paid for. Get this tool and an extra inner tie rod or 2 and you won't drive 4 hrs. and end your weekend on Friday night like I did !

Inner tie rod removal tool
I was in a pinch when I ordered this, the removal kit I rented from the parts store didnโt have the right size in it. I used the tool with the moving mechanism on a long extension and it worked great. Flip the tool around and it worked great to tighten 10/10 would recommend

Good alternative to the OEM tool
Worked well.

Great tool
Worked like a charm. Used on a 2015 Polaris Ranger 570 mid. Itโs adjustable so I can use it on almost any vehicle.

Don't laugh, just buy it
Looking at this tool, you would chuckle and assume it wouldn't work.... until you get it and the 8 hours you wasted with the rented tool is destroyed with the 2-3 minute removal with this tool. Took a minute to get attached, put an extension on and apply minimal force and it broke the tie rod loose in seconds. If this sounds like I'm promoting, it's because I wasted a Saturday with the rental tool to get 1 side done and spent more time writing this than with this tool on the second side.

Worth the money
I needed this tool for the work that I was doing on my wife's Jeep and it worked wonderfully. The price was very reasonable and I received it very quickly. It was packaged with care from the manufacturer and it is built very heavily duty. If you need one of these for your project, I highly suggest buying this one.

U-shaped tool worked well on a MK5 GTI
The u-shaped tool which is tightened with nuts worked great, but don't bother with the hinged one, it just slips off. I would recommend buying only the u-shaped tool on its own. Replaced both of the inner tie rods on a MK5 VW Golf GTI and torqued them back up to spec easily ๐

Itโs alright
Does the job

Just get the single tool with the nut secure - dont bother with the other one.
I'm a mechanic,. Used to remove inner tie rod ends - The tool with the nuts - Perfect - good grip and small enough to fit in tight space. Tool with the large hole - Not very good grip, painted surface meaning it will slip most of the time. Poor design.

A bit hit and miss with these but worked for me.
So I purchased these to change both inner tie rods on a 1997 Fiat Ducato motorhome which were completely seized on. I tried the U shaped one first with a long extension and just get slipping and eventually rounded up the square ratchet hole. I then tried the other design where as, the more pressure you apply to undo it the more it grips and again with a really long extension bar and large ratchet it broke lose with a loud pop. So basically depending on how seized they are you might get away with the U shaped one if not the other one will almost definitely brake it loose. I use the same one I used to remove the tie rod as I did to tighten the new ones. You obviously just have to reverse it round the other way. Seem well made apart from the rounding of the square hole in the U shaped one but this could have been partly my fault for not checking if the extension bar was seated perfectly in the hole.

Does the job
The product arrived on time and well packaged. The product itself is as advertised and does the job for a decent price, however you can tell that the quality is a little on the lesser side, the groves for grip are superficial on the clamp model and in general not sure how long they would last for everyday usage.
