Covert Compartment US Nickel Hidden Compartment Coin

Pretty neat. Not as nice as the quarter. This nickel has a visible line along the cut. It is visibly different as well as a weight difference from an ordinary nickel. (You have to look close though). The quarter is visibly perfect. Only noticeably different by weight. They are both neat though. Oh and by the way you can't get an SD card in there, they're just too thick. But you can get a bunch of other stuff in there.

I am very excited, the microSD fits the coin perfectly and it is really unrecognizable. The only little issue is, that I have to use more force to close it and it is not so hard to open, but all in all, it is great. Thank you very much for such a brilliant idea

These are great. I bought a couple of nickels. I don't really have a need for them, but the novelty was interesting. They fit a Micro SD card as advertised and can withstand a reasonable degree of scrutiny. The machining is executed with a high degree of precision. You have to know to look for a seam then look very closely to find it. If you carry it with your change of course you have to be very careful not to spend your special coin. You also have to remember to orient the front and back so they both point "up" together. I was sloppy, showed the coin to a friend, and he said "Hey, why's the picture on the back at a funny angle?" I told him it was a rare mistake made at the mint, which makes this coin valuable to collectors. He looked closely but never noticed the seam where the front and back joined. I gave one to a friend who is about to start a course to become a machinist as and example of the kind of thing he'll be able to create by the time he graduates.

It's an absolute Lie! I was really curious how there would be enough room to fit a mico SD card and now I know... It did not come with a tool to open it as stated. It does not have any opening around any side of it. I took High Resolution photos, (because I didn't have a microscope) and zoomed way in... No opening. I then weighed it against another nickel I had laying around. The difference was minute indicating there is no void in the center of this coin. It's fraud... The reviews are obviously false, written to entice buyers... Unless someone at the USPS or the shipping facility thought it would be funny to replace my ordered product with a real nickel, It's a Fake! THE WHOLE THING IS A SCAM, AND A DAMN GOOD ONE AT THAT! Don't Buy This Product!

The tolerances in this coin are unbelievably close . As described and more.

Not sure of the technology involved here...but it is very, very precise...holds a mini sd perfectly..must cut these suckers apart with a laser beam..A neat way to give your mate something cool...fold up a little love note...put it in...and give it to her with the opening tool that comes with your nickel...the quarters and halves are good for this too.Although the quarters wont hold the micro sd as they are too thin...It does weigh less than a real nickel as the innards are removed..an sd inserted does compensate somewhat..but not entirely..other than it's weight though..it is very deceptive..Seeya

I have no practical use for this item, but I knew that when I bought it. Still, I was going to have a great time with this little gizmo up until the point that I lose it and forgot about it. But until then I just like it.
