It really is impressive. Great clarity and distance. I could easily see it in my backyard trees very clearly and definitely on the siding of the house Looking forward to summer and parties on the deck with this one. Ended up buying a fog machine to go with it. The animation is pretty cool as it the line light beams. Very small in size. Seems sturdy too. And then later I set it up in my garage with a fog machine The really cool thing about this is once you figure out all the nuances with the unit. Then after letting it play for more than a half hour, all these different modes start going playing. Because you think you’ve seen the cycle then it starts with different cycles. Kinda neat

This laser is fantastic, it has so many presets, even after 5 + nights of several hours of use, there are still new scenes that play on it, I haven't even started programming it yet and already ordered another one

I added this to go with another laser that was 2W and about 150 bucks on sale. It's not bad, runs through quite a few animations and various line displays. I like that it's small and portable, was easy to mount on my pergola with a little security camera mount. It looks a bit dim and underwhelming compared to my 2W laser, though - that one really pops, this one is fine but notably dimmer and a bit flickerier (I know that's not a real word). The remote is pretty good, at least allows you to switch between animation and line and adjust the speed and stage size. No app support at least that I could find. So in general I'd say this is pretty good as long as you're ok with basics, but you might "outgrow" it. It's a classic case of "you get what you pay for" - it's about half as nice as the 2W laser I paid twice as much for, so I can't complain and it's "as expected" and works fine with some positives like compact size and wide range of preprogrammed animations and line drawings. If you're just occasionally using it inside in a small area would probably be a good choice, outside projecting longer distances then you might want to spring for a better one.

I hardly leave reviews but this light is so nice I had to. I will be using it for when i DJ and it will definitely add value. I don’t have DMX controller but I don’t think it’s a must with light. I let it run on auto and sound and it seems as if I have a controller. The video was only on about 60 width and it goes up to 100 so it will definitely fill a large room. If you’re on the fence about getting it, do it.

Yeah this the best thing you can buy off Amazon. It is impressive. Way better than trying to find something to watch on Netflix. Put on some good music and this thing. It will be awesome for a party.

Broke after a week. total trash

First off, i am extremely impressed with how high quality these lasers are. They display beautifully and and look extremely professional. The colors are great, the sound mode is actually not bad if you find the right sensitivity. That being said, i really wish i could just switch to one specific design and not have to skim through each one. I imagine with a DMX this makes it easier to select which light feature you like. I wish i could have a buttom that correlates to one scene. For example, if i want to display circles, i cant just press a buttom and make them appear; i have to search for the circles and it can be annoying when wanting to show someone only one thing. Not a huge fan of the animation mode but it does a really good job but again, i have to scavenger for the animation i want. Software/ an app could easily fix this. Or a bigger remote with more buttons. I also hate how it has to say “off” when it goes off. Would be nice if it just turned off and went back on with out the obvious wording. I like to press on as soon as a the beat drops so it suprises people but its super akward because it just says whatever mode its on before actually displaying the last feature that was left on before. It is still REALLY cool, but i will probably return for something that has more selective options rather than having to scroll through to find the setting i like. It also wouldnt have hurt to add SD card support like others.
