Isavela Sternum Compression and Symmastia Prevention Bra (BR00)

I bought this item after having my 4 breast implant SX. I have a problem after every SX with bottoming out and symastia. I wear this over my bra when ever I can. It helps I’m a 30ddd. I wear size XSmall. It’s snug.

Fits well. It digs in a bit but that’s to be expected when you’re trying to achieve compression! My only complaint is it didn’t quite compress as much as I needed it, too. I’m not even sure that’s possible for a garment, though. Luckily I’m married to an engineer and he rigged up a two inch diameter cylinder hard piece to wedge in between my sternum and the bra to press down the remaining tissue. I feel ridiculous but it’s actually working! If anyone else is reading this because they’re trying to prevent symastia, I talked to my nurse and she said the first three months are the most important in trying to form where everything with stay. So by wearing this, you’re trying to form your capsule/pocket where it’s most aesthetically pleasing to you. Any later than that and it probably won’t work. I’m not not technically dealing with symastia because my implant isn’t shifting, but I do have tenting of the tissue between the breasts. It’s either my skin stretching to accommodate the implants or it’s just my anatomy. Time will tell! Also, make sure you’re stocked up in crew neck shirts because that’s the only thing that will hide these bra straps!

I've been searching for something to replace the one my Dr. gave me after surgery. I only found sternum compression bras on 3 websites- and this is by far the cheapest & most attractive! But don't expect this to compress the sternum down enough on it's own- you also need to add a "bolster" to wear underneath it between your breasts. After surgery my Dr. gave me one made of rolled up gauze wrapped together with bandage tape, and so that is what I use. This bra will hold down the bolster and the two together will press down enough on the skin to prevent tenting/symmastia. Also, the band is very tight. My bra size 32C and I bought the small. I wear it on the loosest setting and it is still tight enough to leave marks on my skin. As another reviewer said, stock up on tops with high necklines! The best part is that the black one sort of looks like some kind of lingerie, so no one questions it when they see it lying around my house!

I ordered two of these. They were very stiff and scratchy so i requested a refund and sent them back. Seller is refusing to refund me for the one i tried on even though it was in perfect condition and the package. BEWARE!!!

My band size is 32. This puts me at Borderline between S and M. I got S. I feel like it's tight... not painful but definitely leaning more towards uncomfortable tightness. I'm still keeping it because I am not sure if the M will give me this level of compression in the sternum. I rolled up a sock tightly to add more pressure to the sternum because it is true that it doesn't push hard enough.

Seems to be good quality but the band sizing is off by at least 2 inches. Runs large, had to return.

I use this bra for underbust compression and support. I had the bottom of my implant pocket reinforced to support G cups (30 band) and this bra is perfect for that. It has wide underbust for excellent compression, and slight cupping of the implant for additional support. I cannot speak to sternum compression. I find this bra comfortable and am in it pretty much 24/7 under regular bras. Size S is tight on the first hook, just how I need it. I expect it to soften with wear and wash. So affordable, I have 2 nudes and 1 black. For my purpose, this performs better than the $100 bra the surgeon gave me post op.
