Will this treatment work on car chassis which are rusty ?

Please see the instructions from the bottle label. Simple preparation! Remove loose scale, flaky rust, all paint and dirt with thorough wire brushing. Reduce any high peaks of rust. Remove Acid, Alkali, grease oil and chemicals with detergent water wash then rinse with clean water. Paintwork blistered by rust should be scraped down to hard surface. DO NOT REMOVE all traces of rust. All areas must be adequately covered with Neutrarust 661®

Does this have a shelf life? Thanks

I can’t be sure regarding shelf life, what I can say that it works well and after eighteen months since I first used it, there is plenty of life left in the remainder and no sign of deterioration. Just keep sealed after use, as it will thicken and dry if left exposed to air indefinitely.

can this be used for rusty heated towel rails in the bathroom?

I’ve only used this on rusty vehicles but I imagine so. It’s important that you understand that this product will leave a brown coating on the surface it’s painted on. This is very very difficult to remove. I got some on my van’s paintwork and I had to very carefully scratch it off. This coating is to protect the treated area. Apparently it can be painted over but I haven’t got that far yet. As far as killing rust goes, it works brilliantly.

How many square meters will one liter cover, would it do the underneath of a LDV convoy?

Hi. Neutrarust 661 will cover approx12 square metres per litre. And will work on the rust on an LDV
