I bought this to hold my famiiy Bibles from the early 1800's (fire and water resistant). It's small enough that we could carry it to the garage, though it is substantial weight. Would recommend it.

I can see why this safe was top-rated by Wirecutter. This is a substantial safe with adequate room inside for a 3 ring binder. The shelf helps to organize.

This safe is heavy enough to give someone pause before taking but small enough not to take up a great deal of space. Comes with a kit to attach to wall or shelf. I didn't use it. Holds quite a bit. The dial feels kind of "plastic-y" but it works and there's always the key. I wish it was a little wider on the inside but it suits my purpose nicely.

I have two Sentry safes. They both seem good. The one I bought about 5 years ago has a dial and a key. The key is necessary as well as dialing in the combination. In other words, the key doesn't bypass the dial, and the dial doesn't bypass the key. Both are needed. This new one has a dial and a key, too, but the key actually bypasses the dial and opens without needing to dial in the combination. That surprised me. I haven't decided if I prefer this. I think I like the setup of the old one. The old one needs both key and dial, the new one can open with either key or dial, I don't need both. Probably 6 of one...

Excellent buy and quality. I have another of thw same companies and thry both work well and are big enough for most things but most people of aversge size andbuild can get It out of the box and put where u want to without help etc but once loaded as u want it would most likely need 2 people to move or take it etc. And then have to have tools etc to open it / so for home use is a good buy.
