Awesome, but expensive
The best top 2-3 manufacturers i tried. Socks hold shape even after several washes unlike generic socks. Very nice feeling on the feet, however material can get the feet a bit sweaty. I use them for long hikes, so that can be expected anyway. It is nice to see quality product in the age of "fast fashion".

Second pair of Darn tough
These socks might be a little expensive but it is well worth it, they are well built with reinforcements in the correct areas and also have a lifetime guarantee if you send them back to Darn Tough. So good I bought a second pair having had one pair for quite a few years already. Hand wash is the only downside! Socks come to just above the ankle so suitable for standard walking boots. If you have particularly high ankle support though I would get the other fit.

My wife had a pair that developed a hole after a few years, which was promptly replaced under the lifetime warranty.

Extremely fast delivery, well packaged with nice company contact enclosed. Fits like a tight glove. Best investment in ages. Since hearing about DarnTough I am hooked. Holey Unacceptable
Very comfortable but starting to develop holes on sole after a few months of light use. Just not good enough for the price.

Fantastic socks and very very durable compared to other high end brands. Other brands seems to wear the heels incredibly fast whilst these are truly darn tough

They are soft, not itchy, with just the right amount of elasticity to keep them snug on your feet.I wear a size 9 in shoes, and ordered the mediums. I dont expect to ever have to use their lifetime guarantee replacement program, because the quality of this sock is already very high. How could you go wrong with a pair of socks that has a guaranteed lifetime warranty!? Well done Darn Tough Vermont!
