Excellent with limitations...
This monitor is a VA panel so I know it has some limitations. But I don't really notice them, a) because I sit fairly close (~24"), and b) because I'm accustomed to VA panels. But this is easily the best Display I've ever owned. I have mine mounted on a full motion arm by Mount it so I have more desk space under the display. The picture quality is Very Good. Though I use mine is a fairly dark room. It's not too bright and I've turned down the brightness a bit. Still even when I turn on a fairly bright LED ceiling fixture there is no perceptible glare. Also from what I can see the contrast is fairly uniform, and I see no bright spots on a pitch black screen. At the same time on a light image I see very little of the darkening that is typical for VA panels (especially when sitting as close as I am). Now I don't have any calibration or testing equipment. But I'd say the brightness is about the 300nits mean it's rated for in the description. For Gaming its excellent! My video card is an Nvidia RTX 2080 Super. And in Destiny 2 I consistently get 120+ FPS. Plus with most other games like MechWarrior 5 I don't notice any framerate related issues. So I'm very happy. There is just one thing I have to mention. And actually it's the reason why I didn't review this product sooner. It's sensitive to Low Humidity. I live in Albuquerque NM. Without a humidifier running my average humidity was around 16%. And even though I wasn't actually touching the display the screen would occasionally go off (as in No image) then back on again. And I tried everything I could think of (related to the computer) to figure out what was causing this before deciding to try running a humidifier. Bottom line: as soon as I got the humidity in my room to over 30% this issue vanished.

One hell of a deal.
The last monitor I bought was back in 2010 so this baby is a massive upgrade for me. With that said I may not be the best resource. One thing to keep in mind is that Amazon is selling this monitor for $200 less than Newegg and $400 less than LG, probably why last time I checked they were out of stock. This 32'' monitor is a beast. No dead pixels. I was a bit confused at first because the monitor was displaying at 60hz while the capability is 144hz. This being my first 144hz monitor I didn't know that it will only display what you feed into it and after a few minutes of panic I found a tutorial to change the output through Nvidia's control panel. At $449 this 32'' 144hz G-Sync monitor is totally worth the buy. Sure it is a VA panel but the colors are great and I see no problems with viewing angles. If I were doing video editing / graphic design work I would probably need an IPS but for what I do the colors seem vibrant and clean. In the future I may get an arm mount for this bad boy, the stand is great but there is about a 2-3 inch gap between it and the table and at 32'' my other 2 60hz 27'' monitors are just high enough to be uncomfortable to reference. This might just be something I have to get used to but it is currently an adjustment. As far a performance goes it takes everything I throw at it without a problem. My system includes I7-8700k, 16gb ram, RTX 2070, with main storage on M.2. Anthem gets easy 120fps at 2k with no screen tearing and I was trying my hardest to get it to with explosions, flying, spinning in circles. Borderlands 3, piece of cake. I'm not a big FortNite or Apex guy but I might become one.. going from 60hz to 144hz my win ratio has gone through the roof I don't know if they are cross platform but it feels like I am playing against mobile players.

Almost Perfection
After search high and low for the best monitor for my money i settled on this one. I was interested because the 32" seemed more immersive for movies and gaming then the 27" gaming monitors most go for and maxing 1440p interests me more then 4k. I would almost call this monitor too large since on my small not very deep desk I must sit close to it to use the keyboard and mouse well. Still it's amazing and not bad at all after letting your eyes get use to it. Added a height extended monitor stand for one of my old monitors to sit tilted on top and works perfectly and saves space on the desk. Pros: Large immersive size, fair price, 144hz native with OC possible, Gsync Cons: Takes up large desk space, price while fair jumped up 40$ when I got then quickly returned to 650$.., Normal front control buttons would have been nice because the bottom wheel and pointer stick seem cheap and breakable, rear lights don't turn off when monitor enters sleep mode, once in awhile i notice the monitor on its own without any input brings up the monitors built in OSD showing the bottom options and current input channel for a few secs... Overall do i recommend buying this? Yes for the price and what currently being offered elsewhere it's a great monitor. If only those few areas i pointed out were not issues this would have earned 5 stars easy.

Skip IPS and give this VA a try
Prior to receiving this monitor I had tried the LG 34GK950G ultrawide which is an IPS screen and then a replacement, and then the replacement was bad too with lots of glow. I decided to just try a regular 16:9 monitor this time and I wish I would have done that to begin with. This monitor is amazing, 144hz or 165hz with an OSD overclock, no dead pixels, screen looks very uniform, no glow (which I have learned I am apparently super sensitive to), nice bias lighting ring around the back. VA panels supposedly smear but I have noticed none. It feels just as snappy as my TN monitor. Blacks look black which is more than the ultrawide could do. Colors aren't as "poppy" but it's a major upgrade over my 144hz acer TN panel. Monitor is still pretty new, I will update if anything changes for the worse.

Sometimes you NEED a BEAST to tame a BEAST!!!!
This thing is absolutely one of the most beautiful monitors I have ever seen with all the perks for a damn good price. I picked up this unit at around $500 which i think is a STEAL. Only other monitor I was able to find which is "G-SYNC" compatible at 32+ was, LG 34GL750-B 34 inch. Now let me keep this nice and simple.... Pros - +Cheap for the size and capabilities (32inch G-sync) - THIS IS HARD TO FIND SO CHEAP!!!! +144hz for those fast games / racing / FPS shooting +4ms response time, fast enough don't need 1ms tbh... + super easy assembly, setup, have to change colors (as do most monitors. google your model) + amazing for all games + BONUS - It has HDMI so you can connect your PS4/Xbox/Switch and rotate between all of them! Cons - +Little plastic, what i assumed to be "wire" holder sucks horribly and should have been designed into the stand to run the wires through. +Wires themselves are EXTREMELY short. I feel sorry for those who have to travel a ways to reach their PC. No bueno but I got it. + Stand doesn't go as high as I would like and doesn't have fixed positions set in the mounting unit. Overall, fantastic screen for a damn good price. Definitely pick it up if you have a 1070ti or better!!! You will absolutely fall in love and your friends will be jealous of your new baby.

this monitor is soooo nice.
got this as an upgrade from a tv. the jump to 165 hz was stunning. the color is great, anybody that says the color is bad because of it's being a VA panel is nuts. if the colors were any more vibrant they'd look fake. the slight loss of pixel density doesn't bother me at all, i don't sit with my nose glued to the screen anyway so it's hard to even notice. what's easy to notice is the jump to 1440p from 1080p. MUCH sharper picture. the main reasons i went with this over the standard 27" 1440p IPS monitor that everyone else sells is i like to watch a good bit of netflix/amazon/hbo and often like to watch from the couch. 27" would be a real strain to see from the couch. also this has a 3000:1 contrast ratio and the others are all 1000:1 at best. i like the shadows and dark scenes in my movies to actually be dark. 5ms is more than fast enough for any human, if you think you'll suffer with anything over 2ms you are just lying to yourself or you are a cyborg. construction is quite good. i saw a few people complaining about the base being plastic. it is SLEEVED in plastic the whole stand, feet and pole, is metal under that veneer of plastic. it's plenty sturdy unless you plan on playing rugby with it. price is high but not much higher than the competition and it's a LOT bigger. right now it's the only one of its kind available. well worth it in my opinion. also the bias lighting is really nice for playing/watching in the dark. strongly recommend.

Great picture for gaming (200 hours of FPS and RTS in)
This monitor is a dream for gaming. I was coming from an older 27 inch Acer 2k 144hz 1ms Free-sync monitor. The "compatibility" of Free-Sync with my 2080 ti was driving me nuts with shaky menus and loading screens so I got a full fledged G-Sync monitor with a 5 ms response time. Used them side by side and could see no difference in quality for motion blue or artifact trailing. Which I was worried about coming from 1ms. The color reproduction is good, not great. Nothing I will notice much gaming. The screen is so large, at about 4 feet as I game, I am close enough if I stare real hard to notice the viewing angle change on the edges (They get a little darker on the edges but it takes a mind to look for it to notice it, and its not one of those things you notice after you see it once, you have to look for it each time and won't notice it if you are not looking for it) Vesa Mount Mount is very adjustable, but a little wobbly. On a wobbly desk, you may end up with wobbly monitor. Menu system is very easy to use. Rear LED gimmick is pointless unless you play in the dark. Can't see it all. Charging USB ports right in front of me are nice as my CPU is farther away. I shopped monitors to death before going with this one and its amazing, would recommend.

Big and Beautiful Top Notch Performing Panel with excellant uniformity and Static Contrast, a gamers dream.
This panel has excellent uniformity across the board, both colors and blacks/greys. The Pixel response times are far faster than the "5ms" advertised would lead you to believe. Particularly relative to the "1ms" response times advertised on other panels. Think of it this way: Those are the fastest response times and only ONE transition amongst literally millions... At 165 Hz a response time of 6ms would completely eliminate ANY blurring. And the response times are so fast on this panel that only high speed photography and fast on screen movements would even be able to capture any sort of evidence of blur. Ghosting from overshoot is almost entirely eliminated and can only be seen if you specifically find a environmental contrast like a dark object against a bright background and quickly move back and forth AND look very close to see it. There's no way you're going to notice this in games. So effectively this panel has no observable blurring or ghosting AND is 165 Hz so fast movements look SUPER fluid. The VA panel offers a night and day difference in static contrast relative to IPS and TN panels which normally have at maximum 1000:1 static contrast. This panel has a static Contrast of 3000:1. This is the total difference between the darkest dark on the screen and the lightest lights, and every shade in between. Not just blacks/greys/whites either, but the shading of colors too, which makes them POP. IPS and TN panels look washed out by comparison. And it has G-sync, a huger contributor to just how much this panel, a VA type that usually is known for smearing, completely eliminates it across all refresh ranges (due to it's ability to adaptively adjust its pixel overdrive). I was skeptical about G-Sync and high refresh before I bought this panel. G-Sync is real. The Adaptive Sync range is 1 FPS to 165 FPS. This is far beyond the capabilities of Freesync even in its best form. I've cranked up settings (5K+250% resolution) and played at 10-11 FPS, which although still only being a 10 FPS slide show, was also still smooth and playable. The only caveat I'd have with this panel is that the first one I received had a dead pixel just above the center on the screen. I cannot say this is due to generally poor quality control as most reviews have reflected otherwise. But it was there and there's no denying it. Which is why I'm so glad to have bought this panel on Amazon, who promptly sent me a new one which arrived two days after I made a ticket. I was allowed to keep the one I had until the new one arrived and return shipping was paid for by Amazon. I am happy to say that the new one is completely free of the defects of the previous one. And it was literally the next one on the assembly line. The serial number of every single component was exactly one number away from the defective panel. I would urge any consumer to promptly inspect all aspects of their product upon receipt no matter how glowing quality control reviews imply. In the end, this is a BIG and Beautiful display with functionality perfectly suited to PC gamers, particularly the overwhelming majority that are GeForce gamers, out there. It cost less than most UW displays and requires less GPU power to drive it, which only adds to the benefit that it's much higher refresh rate allows. It's uniformity and performance in terms of blurring/ghosting is far superior to even the very best UW displays. I find that having a bigger higher refresh 16:9 format display that allows you to flick back and forth quickly to take your environment in is far superior to an UW that forces you to move your head back and forth to truly take advantage of the panel's wider aspect ratio. Our eyes have a limited area were out vision is truly good enough to really distinguish elements anyway and having to move your head negatively effects both your immersion and your reaction time. Sitting back far enough from an UW to truly take everything in only makes everything so much smaller and harder to distinguish. UI interfaces on an UW's are extremely hard to take in all at once. I would urge anyone considering an UW instead of a 16:9 panel with the vastly superior performance of the LG 32GK850G-B to consider all these points.... For $800 it's really a great deal relative to other offerings on the market. The 32" Freesync 2 Samsung CHG70 is a truly awful performing panel cross the board, all the highs of the LG are starkly contrasted by lows on the Samsung, which I wanted badly to buy before I read the reviews.... UW's are universally poorer performing panels due to thew limits of their aspect ratio and the manufacturing process. IPS panels suffer from slower response times and washed out colors (little shade gradation), not to mention greyer blacks. TN's only offer almost completely meaningless improvements to response times while returning the same poor contrast as IPS panels in addition to poor colors and viewing angles.

Ottimo monitor gaming.

Best 2k gaming monitor in affordable price
I waited a long time for this monitor: 31.5 inches, 144-165Hz and G-Sync. Must say that I use this monitor as the main device. Perfect for gaming. If you want to do video and photo editing with it, it should be said that you can use this monitor for "normal" home use. But you shouldn't expect miracles. Of course, this can't get to other UHD resolution and IPS panel in the market which will cost you 1.3lakhs. But it wasn't built for that. Also, a monitor at almost 32 inches doesn't have to be curved, in my opinion. I now have two of this size on the table and am very happy with it. The monitor is right in front of me and the size is just perfect for me. Positive: - no pixel errors - very well lit. - Colors are okay, (AMVA) Va panel is typical - G-Sync is a dream. Always had problems with tearing on Ubi-soft titles - 144Hz or 165Hz 😊 - 31.5 inches 😊 - short and clear menu tour (you can quickly find your way around) - Cables are all long enough for me (monitor is right next to the tower) Neutral: - yes, on the edges the picture looks a bit soft. You can see it very well on a white background. A curved display would probably help. But not disturbing for me. In the heat of the moment, you don't give it any meaning or it is not visible. - yes, the USB ports on the back (unfortunately for me) are not quite as suitable. I personally would have preferred a side mounting to quickly connect a stick or hard drive. But here too you can remedy the situation with e.g. a USB hub. - yes, the setting options for color, gamma, color profiles, etc. are very limited. Nevertheless, the picture is completely fine for me and that says someone who has a monitor with IPS panel with 100% sRGB coverage as a second device. - FPS indicator for displaying in the game is missing (I would have liked). But here I use MSI Afterburner and can, therefore, display even more data. - Different profiles cannot be created or saved. For me, however, the ready-made profiles are enough for gaming and nothing else this monitor should be able to do for me. It is a monitor for gamers and for me it fulfills it 100%.

Excelente. Acierto total.

This monitor has it all, if you can handle the price
I decided that, with the amount I used my PC, it was finally time to bring my monitor to the current age. I spent time looking through what I wanted in a monitor, and couldn't escape the fact that this has it all. The 144Hz is a very noticeable upgrade over 60Hz, to such an extent that you will notice even in browsing or scrolling documents. Of course gaming is where the refresh rate is most important, and the manufacturer overclock ensures you will never want for smoother gameplay. The 1440p resolution on top of 32" display size makes it simply feel like I have twice as much computer to use, and despite some concern for it being a bit too big, I feel like it is just the right size for immersion in whatever I use the computer for. The RGB lighting on the back isn't a necessarily big deal, but it is a neat thing to have and could suit some themes. So far, I have encountered only one problem; the stand is a bit wide. I needed to move my mouse mat off to the side to accommodate, but that is really throwing me off. I am going to get a different stand with a smaller base, but this monitor is VESA compatible, so thankfully that is an option. The "monitor lottery" always exists, and it is always worth preparing for a lemon with dead pixels or edge bleed, but LG seems to have good quality control, and mine seems to be free of any issues. The screen doesn't have the trendy curve, but flat is desirable in many ways. I prefer the flat screen because it is easier to show your screen to someone nearby, and there is still inherent risk in dependability of curved screens. Lastly, the G-Sync. This version is considerably more expensive than the FreeSync version, but G-Sync has advantages, and frankly it's easier to buy this than get the FreeSync version plus an AMD GPU if you already have NVidia. I'm happy with it, and there are videos available if you want some head-to-head comparisons in performance. In conclusion: this is the monitor for someone who spends hours per day at their desk, and has the money available to get the best. All of the details of today's monitors are captured in this monitor, and the LG brand is a good reassurance of quality control and costumer service over smaller companies; even Samsung seems to have a bit of a reputation for dead pixels at the moment. If you play games competitively, render 3D models, or simply spend a lot of time in front of a monitor and want something future-proof to be proud of, this is it; at least in my experience.
