Cool runnings . . .
It did the trick for me, an ageing desktop running very hot as a lot of use had dried out and 'crazed' the old thermal cement between the processor and its heatsink. I took specialist advice off the web, used Arctic two part cleaner to remove the old stuff, applied this paste as directed and several weeks late all is running cool and there are no more unexpected behaviours from the machine! Going to open up the laptop next . . . !

Why use anything else?
If you know what this product is used for then you know that nothing else compares to it. Don't bother with the other thermal compounds because they don't work even half as well as AS5. A tube of this size will last for a long time and I should know because my previous 12g tube is almost 2 years old and only just reaching the empty notch. Value for money? Yes!

This is truly a very high quality product! Helped to make my processor temperature dropp 10-12 C. If you can manage to properly apply Arctic Silver 5 and install your processor cooler then it will work for you.

Ho acquistato la pasta termica artic per sostituirla con altra pasta termica che mi era finita e, dovendola usare per rimontare la CPU del computer, l'ho provata subito. Prodotto eccellente per la sua malleabilità, si riesce a stenderla molto bene senza doverne usare molta (attenzione, usarne il meno possibile in quanto poi strimgendo le viti potrebbe fuoriuscire e dopo bisogna pulire!!!). Ottimo acquisto. Tempistica di spedizione OK!

Excelente producto, su conductividad térmica es significativamente superior a otras pastas térmicas, de inmediato note una diferencia en la disipación de calor, mi procesador se mantuvo alrededor de 5 grados centígrados mas fresco que con la pasta de stock, sin duda valió la pena la inversión.

If you want to overclock without metal liquid thermal paste then this is your best choice, if you don’t want to overclock then I advise you to buy MX4 thermal paste instead
