Would these suit a bichon hair?

Yes - however, you’d need the correct blade though. They come with a no 10 detachable A5 blade which will cut right down to the skin. To groom a Bichon you’d need a number 4F or 5F if not matted or you can put a longer comb attachment over the 10 blade. If matted you will need a 7F blade
