No protection from front view... only sides . Very disappointed

This screen protector is almost perfect for my Surface Pro 9. However, since adding it I see little grid lines on the screen when looking straight on. I know this is there because of the privacy functionality but I have had similar products on my devices like iPads, etc. where this was not noticeable. I am giving. While this screen protector/privacy guard does what it's supposed to, it doesn't adhere to the computer as well as it should.

The privacy screen works, but you can see hundreds of tiny lines moving at an angle across the screen with the cover on. Makes it too annoying to actually use on a daily basis. Could be useful for someone only using it in a place that needed privacy, like on a flight or something.
