Petcube Cam 360 – Wi-Fi Pan-Tilt Pet Security Camera with App

This is my second petcube camera and i really enjoy both of them. i’ve got a 16 year old disabled senior so being able to keep eyes on him is extremely important to me pros: shipping was quick and set up was very simple. the video is much clearer on this camera than my other petcube. night vision works very well, I use this feature frequently in a dark room and have never had an issue seeing my pup. while zooming in the video quality stays good. i can see the entire room with the ability to move the camera up/down/left/right. one of my favorite new features is the privacy mode so i don’t have to plug and unplug it all the time. one of the deciding factors for me was the free app, it gives me the features i need (live stream was the most important to me) without additional costs. i feel the pricing is really fair. i really love that i can share the camera with family and they can log in and check on my pup, also for free. cons: the audio on the speaker when speaking to my pet isn’t as loud as my previous petcube camera (the petcube cam). the app could use some improvement with connectivity. sometimes my live stream will randomly go “offline” and take a few minutes to reconnect. and sometimes when i open up the app i can’t get the livestream to load at all, it’ll say “connecting” and never connect and the in app support chat freezes. i have to reboot the whole app to get it to work and then it works great. this only happens sometimes, most of the time the app works great. overall i really enjoy my petcube cameras. i love knowing i can keep eyes on him at all times easily on my phone. 5 stars from me!

These items are worth the price for two. They are easy to set up, with crisp clear picture and are great for keeping an eye on your pets, I don’t have notifications set up but i do check every so often and can usually find them laying in the same spots. Your pets can hear you clearly and its honestly great having eyes on them

I’ve been using PetCube products for about two years now. My puppy is mostly well-behaved, but I feel better with constant monitoring, when he’s not in the same room with me. For that reason, I needed cameras throughout the house – so cost was a huge factor in my camera selection criteria. I’ve been impressed with the quality and functionality of these cameras, especially given the relatively low-cost. Set-up is easy, the connection is stable, user interface is efficient and easy to navigate, night-vision works great – pretty much all of the available features behave as expected. Needless to say, I’m pretty happy with the brand. So, I was really excited to try out this new model, when I found out it was being released. And rightfully so. The image quality is noticeably improved – so clear and sharp, even when zoomed in. But the real game-changer is the 360-degree panning feature. All I can say is WOW. Oh, important to add – the few times I’ve had very specific questions and contacted PetCube Support, the service has been prompt, friendly and thorough. I highly recommend this brand, and especially this new camera model.

Love this camera! I spent hours researching which one would be best for my 10lb mini dachshund, she periodically suffers from seperation anxiety so I was looking for a way to be able to check on her throughout the day while Im working full-time. This is even better than that! The cube initially has you personlize and set up the experience thats best for you using the PetCube app. There is a subscription for specific features but also a free PetCube version aswell. My reasoning for 4/5 stars was simply based on the fact when I purchased the camera the necessary package for me was $4 a month and when I received the camera the subscription was then $8 a month. The $8 a month is incredibly worth it though. I can log into the camera and hear my pet aswell as talk to her through it. It saves behaviors or moments that are specific to your pet and will alert you if they are barking, using the restroom, or roaming around. It also creates a daily video diary and sums up what it saw your pet doing. The video camera quality is pretty good too, I can even see her when shes in the back of her cage and also works in the dark aswell with a night mode. My favorite part about it is the 360 feature. I can turn the camera anywhere in the room to see whats going on. The camera is smaller than expected, but I actually prefer that more. Its lightweight and doesnt take up much space. There is also a privacy mode or you can simply turn the camera off or unplug it if you arent wanting it live all of the time. Would reccomend to any pet owner!

I wanted a camera for my pet. Not an app to advertise to me. the app is bloated with "services" and advertisements you have to get around to get to the camera. To even set up the camera it wants to know everything about you and your pet. The subscription to get any of the things that are free with Wyze is $10 a month. All in all, I'm sending this thing back. It's largely useless without paying $120 a year. For that I'll just spend more for cameras without the bloat.

Here's my 2 week review of the new Pet Cube 360 cam: It's a pretty darn good 360 cam. I upgraded from the original Pet Cube cam and the picture quality on this is 50-75% better, especially at night. It took less than 5 minutes to set up and connect to the app. The pan and tilt function is so smooth and makes basically zero noise. My little 6 month pup is super sensitive to all noises and movements and she does not even notice the cam at all. I check on the cam at least 10 times a day and the quality and functionality has been great every time. At first, the positioning of the camera would reset once in a while or the tilt would not go all the way down but this was fixed with a firmware update. That's the other good thing about Pet Cube is that they are constantly pushing firmware upgrades to address bugs. The only gripe I have is that I don't see the privacy function show up on my app. Not a big deal since it's just pointing to the pup's pen. Pros: - Easy to set up and use - Great picture quality and streaming - Continuous improvement of firmware - Nice and sleek look Cons (issues that can be fixed): - Could not get privacy function on the app to show up - Positioning of camera sometimes resets but that only happened early on

First of all, we have the original PetCube Indoor Camera, so we were excited to hear about a new product coming out especially since we love our current one so much! I put a picture comparing the sizes of the two cameras. The app is user-friendly and easy to use! Since we already had the an account and our original camera set up, adding this one was so easy. It was the same exact process as the first one. Our dog cannot stay in one place and likes to move around a lot so the fact that it can do a 360 view around the room is a great added feature. I also noticed that the quality of the video was really good, I was impressed! The new privacy mode is an interesting add to the camera, which I do like the concept of this new feature! I did notice that the sound coming from this camera was not as loud as my other one. I tested both of it out and the original camera had a louder sound when I would speak on it. I have yet to mount it up, but I do wish it came with the magnetic/sticky attachment at the bottom like the original one did. It looks like your only option for this one is to screw it in place or just have it out and loose if you want to move it around. Overall, I am very satisfied with their new product so far!!

Product is great and UI is very intuitive. It alerts owners of barking and lets you interact with your pet while away. Quality is clear and mounting option is secure. It can be shared by multiple family members. Shipping issue: I highly recommend ordering from Amazon (here) rather than direct from manufacturer. The manufacturer, unfortunately, utilizes “Amazon Shipping” which doesn’t have the normal safeguards one has with purchasing from Amazon (here). Feel free to research Reddit reviews on Amazon shipping. The paper bag the item was shipped in by the manufacturer was damaged to the point where contents fell out from the bag and left out in the rain. Usually, not good thing when it comes to electronics. Items are not waterproof or water resistant. Moldy boxes -are also not a good thing. I attempted to file a complaint with Amazon Shipping but the automated system kept advising me to contact shipper since the items were soaked. Because there’s no photo of the torn paper bag and driver basically dropping the items out of the bag and into my yard whilst a storm was coming through I was out of luck. The manufacturer told me to file a complaint with Amazon Shipping. There’s no complaint system with Amazon shipping so drivers are free of liability. It didn't help that I provided Ring camera footage of the actual delivery. I even attempted to refuse delivery over the Ring camera since I saw the condition it was left to avoid the whole complaint system - it was ignored and the driver continued walking away. I took a chance on ordering direct since they offered multi camera deals whilst my sister got it through Amazon. She had up to date delivery and photo confirmation. If she wanted to, she could set up return easily via Amazon. But it was not needed since hers was fine and was working well. Apparently, that’s the perk with Amazon -their customer service is outstanding. Amazon customer service will also not be able to answer anything shipped through Amazon Shipping despite having a similar style shipping tracking number. They would transfer you to a different department that isn’t very helpful. Summary: Amazon Shipping - avoid it at all costs. There’s no way to inform them to provide delivery instructions either. And just to note I’ve had at least 3 items from different companies use Amazon Shipping. With that said, I placed the same order of three cameras through here (Amazon) and it arrived safe and sound and working. TLDR: Purchase from here and not from manufacturer - I tried to save a few dollars but ended up paying twice. Between two shipments, I ended up paying for 6 cameras and 3 arrived in working order due to bad shipping with no ability to obtain refunds.

Works wonderful. I had the previous pet cube before but needed a camera with broader view. I'm very satisfied.

Was too complicated to setup with my wifi. I have a "smart" internet router that automatically assigns 5ghz or 2.4ghz bandwidth to devices. It correctly assigned the petcube to 2.4ghz but I could not change my phone from 5ghz to 2.4ghz at will, and apparently the setup will not properly complete if they are not both on 2.4ghz. I would have had to disable the "smart" feature of my router, create separate 5 and 2.4ghz bandwidths with their own passwords (lots of youtube videos to show how to do this), and then redo every device in my home that was connected to the old wifi login credentials! No thanks, sent back immediately. Some folks already have separate 5 and 2.4ghz for their wifi, so this won't be a problem, just make sure to check before.
