This thing is THE BOMB! I am not even kidding. This thing can cure Malaria in a few days flat. THAT'S how powerful it is! Please do yourself a favor and STUDY it carefully before taking it: it is very powerful, it has unusual pharmacokinetics, and it does really kill microbes at an incredible rate. It seems to achieve that by interfering with microbes ability to bind iron (haven't checked yet if it is a strong chelator of iron, but it probably is?) and as a result microbes which have strong affinity for iron (H.pylori, P. falcuparum, Lyme etc) die quite quickly. One side-effect, or proof of dying microbes is a very bitter taste in ones mouth. Some people cannot take that, but I found that a good supply of sugar free chewing gums does wonders for that taste problem. Due to strange pharmacokynetics, it is advised to take this in a "pulsed" manner: take it for a 7-10 days, then leave it off for about 7-10 days, then take it again and so on. Most typical dosage is 500mg BID, although higher than that is safe too. EDIT: Just found out that it kills microbes by releasing highly reactive oxygen species as soon as it gets in contact with iron inside microbes. So all microbes which have strong affinity for iron will be blown to smithereens by this incredible supplement. It is a smart bomb of supplements! EDIT2: also found out that some cancer patients have been taking this every day, once a day (500mg) for years, with great results! Cancer cells are rich in iron. So in that case, it may be that the pharmacokinetics are different, perhaps due to cancer itself? In any case, they did not "pulse" it.

My cat has been in remission for nearly 4 months now. My 16 y/o cat had a large tumor on the bottom of his tongue in December 2011. The biopsy results said it was Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC or SqCC). It is a fast growing cancer, and does not respond to chemo or radiation treatment. My vet estimated he had no more than 6 months, and said only 20% survive a year after diagnosis. She cut the tumor out in mid December but did not have clean margins (not all the cancer was removed). In 30 days it grew back. A second surgery was done 7 days after that (Jan 27), the visible tumor had doubled in size during that week, and again the margins were not clean. I did some research and found several products that were effective in treating this cancer (in humans, dogs and cats). I bought the Doctor's Best Artemisinin after I read the article, "Artemisinin - when cancer cells kill themselves." Please note, If your animal is undergoing radiation you must not use this herbal. The suggested dose for cats was 50mg twice a day. One of the side effects is loss of appetite, and I found my cat would stop eating at that dosage. I tried 50mg once a day, and he stopped eating after 4 days. I waited for him to regain his appetite and tried 25mg once a day. He tolerated that much better. This article and some scientific studies state that Artemisinin cannot be continually absorbed, and you need to break up treatment. The suggested number of on/off days varies widely, but I tried to do 5 days on and 5 days off. Some people mix it into wet food. I bought some smaller capsules and divided the 100 mg capsule up into 4 roughly equal doses. I tried to give him the Artemisinin on an empty stomach. This product acts by taking iron rich cancer cells and creating free radicals. Vitamin E (anti-oxidant) destroys free radicals. Every cat food I found had vitamin E in it. I suppose you could feed your cat a meat diet instead of using cat food. I also did not give him his vitamin pill on days I was dosing him with Artemisinin for the same reason. I used this product for about a month. When my cat had the tumor, he lost a pound and a half. I was trying to get him to gain some weight, and I discontinued this product. If the cancer came back then I was going to go back to this. The cancer has yet to come back, so I don't know if the Artemisinin got rid of it completely, helped shrink it, or did nothing at all. All I know is based on his current therapy the cancer has yet to return. Since March 20th he has only been getting the following daily: NIGHT 1/2 PetAlive C-Caps for Anti-Oxidant Support (60 Caps) NIGHT 1/2 Thorne Research Veterinary-Immugen (Canine & Feline) 120vc He eats Purina Cat Chow complete and friskies canned food. I tried to get him to eat grain free food (low carb), because cancer feasts on glucose for its rapid growth, but he prefers the Purina. He has been taking a blood pressure pill twice a day with a pill popper for several years and swallows pills usually without problems. I coat the capsule with canned food gravy and pop it in his mouth. I have a large cat (11 lbs, was 15) and the c-cap capsules aren't too big. I dump out half of the c-cap and fill it with half the Immugen. The Immugen pills are quite large, so I bought the smallest empty veggie capsules I could find and put the remaining halves of powder in those. I will post updates if his symptoms or treatment changes. Part of my treatment regime was taken from Dee's SCC cancer treatment for her cat Casper.

I purchased this for my 13 yo Shepherd who has osteosarcoma. I am giving this to her in conjuction with butyrate. At first we gave the artemisinin alone, but when we added butyrate the tumor shrank significantly. She is also taking beta glucan and AHCC to boost her immune system as well as taking cottage cheese and flax oil every morning. I do believe the butyrate has provided the syncergist effect for the artemisinin. These 2 items are recommended to be given together by the rearchers at Washington State University, who have done studies on the effect of artemisinin on osteosarcome. There study is available on line with a simple google search. The dog is no longer on any pain meds except for previcox, and is bearing full weight. Her vet was extremely pleased with her progress. I have read from several source that this artemisinin is supplied by Holly Pharmaceuticals. i have not verifited this with the manufacturer. We are very pleased with the results. This is a good price for the product, and our dog is doing very well

No matter whether a vegan or omnivore parasites can enter the body through foods. Today abnormal cells enter from genetically engineered foods the effects of which have not been thoroughly been researched. Significantly decreased my mom’s appetite to the point where she didn’t want to eat and lost 10 lbs in one week. After we pulsed where we did 4 capsules on and 3 off with iron, we completely stopped this artemisnin after her liver enzymes skyrocketed to 650 causing her bilirubin to also jump to 13 😞 We did research and got conflicting evidence about affect on liver (most notably Amazon reviews for this product), and ultimately decided to give it a go based on multiple published research from scientists about it being completely safe, especially for liver. After 3 weeks of stopping, she’s finally starting to eat again, but very little. Her liver numbers are still in the 600 range, but not really coming down. It was our last hope after the conventional therapy we had already tried. Please be careful, wish we could get a refund.

Well, I started using this for my dog to help him with his Lymphoma and I had heard really great reviews from other pet owners. So far, I have to say that although it did does work my dogs lymphoma by the time we started him on this was ROARING. We put him through CHOP and he had horrible side effects and almost died. We took him off just shy of his last treatment and now he is at home chemo and the artemesinin. Currently, it is controlled and he is in remission. We gave it for 6 weeks then we started giving it every other day artemesinin cannot be given continuosly or it will lose its effectiveness along with moducare vet from Thorne and so far that and changing his diet to a completely home made diet with supplements and fish oil his is still with us. It is my hope that he continues to do so. He still has one lymph node that grew so fast that has necrotic tissue in it and so that one will always appear the oncologist told us as a bit larger. His other lymph nodes have remained unremarkable. What I have learned from cancer is that perhaps to some degree we all have it and its how our bodies handle it that is the determining factor. We don't know what goes on at a cellulular level but we know when cancer is present and what the body is NOT doing right. So, we chose to support him the best way possible through all of these and hopefully his body can become more efficient at dealing with the mutated cells and perhaps expand his time with us. I will update at time goes by. It has been 6 months since he was diagnosed, he was diganosed in June of 2013. Its going to be a new year, our boy is still with us.

I have a dog with prostate cancer. He was diagnosed last July (2016) I put him on homeopathic medicine instead of going for chemo. The vet gave him 2 months, 4-5 with chemo.
