One of my tools that I always have with me. Opens up to a sturdy 12" ruler but also compact and easy to use in the 6" folded set. Not much bleed that I have found after 6 months of use.

Good as advertised

I came across this on TikTok through other reviewers raving about the build quality, and I can completely see why it caught people's attention. From the moment you pick it up, it just feels premium. The aluminium construction gives it a really solid, satisfying weight to it, and the hinge mechanism that folds it out to full size is smooth and sturdy, it doesn't wobble or feel flimsy at all when extended. The edges are clean and precise, exactly what you want from a ruler, and there's a neat little built-in angle marker in the centre which is a handy touch I wasn't expecting. The slim profile is a real practical win too. It's thin enough to slip into the back of a notebook without any bulk, so it's always there when you need it. It also sits nicely on the page without sliding around, which makes marking up neat lines a lot easier than with some rulers. My only thought is that small rubber feet on the underside could make it even better for grip, though I appreciate that could create its own issues with added distance from the surface you're marking on, so it's a minor and understandable trade-off rather than a real criticism. All in all, a brilliantly made piece of stationery that feels far more premium than its price suggests. If you're a notebook or stationery person, this one is well worth picking up.

I am very satisfied with the ruler.

I had a plastic version of this ruler from the same brand that I lost, so decided to buy the metal version. It is a lot sturdier than the plastic one and the small angle measurement don’t bother me. I usually use it for measuring length. The main reason I really love this ruler is because it’s folded. It allows be to carry it in a small pencil bag, but can extend to my needs. And overall, it’s a pretty cool looking ruler.

The angle dial is so tiny, that I initially thought they forget to add it. So, the angle measurements are pretty much unuseable for me.

Handy and collapsible. Easy to bring along during travel

The ruler does its job as well as any other one. However, being able to fold it obviously makes it easy to bring with you when needed.
