I got the Custom Heritage with a waverly nib. The nib is smooth and a pleasure to write with. The pen is a dream to use. Love the size and design. The seller was quick and the pen arrived in perfect condition.

Excellent high quality fountain pen. I have to say though that I do not really get the purpose of the WA nib. Some claim that it is smoother on rough paper but I have not really noticed this myself. Others claim that the line width can be varied by altering the angle at which the pen touches the paper. Well, maybe that's the case but the line width variation seems to be fairly small. I just use it as a regular fountain pen with a (slightly strange looking) medium nib.

The purchase of this Waverly nib on the PIlot 912 was a gamble. It has turned out to be a winner ! This pen is allowing me to concentrate on my penmanship and write deliberately much to the pleasure of the recipient of my correspondence. At the same time, this pen allows me to race as I write where only I need to be able to read the written word. Because this nib is so forgiving and executes perfectly no matter my intent or technique this pen is now my every day writer. What a remarkable purchase. Thank you, Pilot !

While I have others (MB, Sailor, Namiki, Pelikan, Waterman, Lamy), this was my first Pilot fountain pen. Very pleased with its quality and attention to detail. Before ordering, the website noted it came with a WM nib, so I had to do a little research beforehand, as I usually go with an F or M. As the reviews I read said, it is one of the smoothest nibs I've ever used.

This is one of the best writing pens in the Pilot catalog and at this price point with a Waverly nib. This pen could definitely fit in well in an office environment as well as any other. It is a very impressive pen.
